I guess after having good Chinese food it’s hard to go backwards . Hunan beef wasn’t horrible But that mess they called fried rice was good awful. But now to the big one , I got a large hot and sour soup which was mediocre at best but when I got to the last couple bites what do I find to my surprise in my mouth a metal wire. Boy how bad this could have went.

The restaurant looked a little faded and sketchy with a faded sign and a number of closed stores nearby. We asked a couple of local ladies who were leaving if it was good and they said it was wonderful. We decided to give it a go and it was very good. The interior was a bit dated but clean. Lots of people doing takeout and a steady stream coming in for dinner at 6pm on a Sunday. They have a good menu and reasonable prices. Egg rolls were above average and our Wor Su Gai was very tasty. Complimentary hot green tea with dinner was an added bonus. We would definitely eat here again.

This restaurant is definitely in need of remodeling. The food was wonderful! House combination lo mein was delightful for $12. The crab rangoon was tasty, and around $6. Free tea at table. Service was quick!

I’m not sure why this place has such high rating . It’s not good , it has no flavor and wow the people are rude . Not my cup of tea .
Something I learned about food/restaurants is you can deal with the workers being semi crappy if the food is good . I’m getting crap food and even more crap attitude. I will never buy from here again . I’m a strong reviewer and really tried to give this location a kind review . I found nothing to complaint them on. Except one just one cause I worked really hard to find something positive. My son and I enjoyed the crab Rangoon

I have been eating at Hunan Garden for nearly 30 years. I drive back home just to eat here.
Their brown sauce on their broccoli/protein/veggie dishes is the best I have found anywhere else. Their crab Rangoon, egg rolls, dumplings, sauces and soups are all house-made. It is very hard to find a Chinese restaurant that makes their own egg rolls. I haven’t found any that are better.
All their battered chicken is hand dipped. My favorite dish- and probably isn’t very popular- is the the House special eggplant. It is out of this world. Crispy outside, tender inside. The sauce is a sweet and sticky. Absolutely my favorite.
