Great food, good serving size, and reasonable prices. I ordered the lunch special and selected Hot and Sour soup, Ma Po Tofu, and fried rice. Good hot and sour is hard to find outside of Chinatown in Philly. Good soup here although it could be just a touch more sour. That’s just my taste. I’d order it again here. Ma Po has all but disappeared from most hole in the wall take aways but not here. I was very eager to try it and I wasn’t disappointed. This was a fairly different Ma Po as it was a little more bean flavoured than most other places I’ve tried. This was very nicely flavoured and I’d highly recommend it. How hot you want it is a matter of individual taste and it says on the menu you can alter how spicy you want. The fried rice has a very clean taste and was also nicely flavoured. Please give this place a try. You won’t regret it. I’m very eager to do more exploration of the menu.

Ordered basic chicken wings and shrimp fried rice and trash is an understatement. No flavor of any kind chicken mediocre would give negative stars if possible.

I ordered shrimp in garlic sauce and it was almost flavorless, the shrimp didn’t look fresh and I didn’t get any soy sauce in my delivery bag. Everything else I ordered was also a let down 🙁 …was hoping this would be my new Chinese food spot but definitely not it.

Relaxed ambiance good place to catch up for dinner. Their best item is the Szechuan Shrimp. Worth every penny.

The search for a top of the line Chinese restaurant in this area is a frustratingone. I’ve had better luck finding good Chinese food in the obscure areas like Pocomoke MD than here!!! Two years ago, this site was (IMO) the best Chinese restaurant in DE (Ming Garden). I was really hoping for the best with the new ownership here.
First let’s start by saying that you have to temper expectations when trying a newly opened Chinese restaurant for the first time. It’s not always easy for them to figure out how ‘their’ food can be changed to appeal to American tatstes. Feedback is key. Now as for the experience:
First Impressions: interior has been simpified since the days of Ming Garden. It’s simple, but very clean. The young man who greeted us was well spoken, energetic, polite and efficient. There was no concerns of professionalism, cleanliness etc…
The food: we ordered Szechuan Chicken, Mongolian Beef and Fried Dumplings.
Fried Dumplings: They were prepared well, but the sauce was extremely salty. Some Chinese restaurants tend to serve it this way. I’d score them a 3 out of 5. The dumplings were pretty good, but the sauce was not.
Mongolian Beef: Very salty. Overall the flavor wasn’t too bad, but the old Wendy’s campaing of ‘Where’s The Beef’ came to mind. The beef is cut into 1 inch long, 1/8th inch strips. Very small, practically non-existant. Very ordinary. Maybe 2.5 out of 5
Szechuan Chicken: Again, a bit salty, not as sweet as one acustomed to Americanized Chinese food may like. It was fresh, but seemed to be ‘ordinary’ with the other many so-so- Chinese restaurants in the are.

Notes: No fortune cookies were included. Not a huge deal, since it’s a novelty but a bit surprising.

Overall: It’s a new place. Give them a chance. Also give them time. Hopefully people can feedback to them in a friendly manner where they can take critiques and improve. It’s clean, fresh and just in need of some more experience. I’ll wait a bit before returning, but wish them the best.

Not terrible food, but not great, either. Just sort of…bland. The broth of my wonton soup tasted like water, though the wonton themselves were pretty good. The egg rolls were nice but uninspiring. The beef with broccoli was well cooked, needing only a touch of salt/soy. The fried rice was just…very dry, though, and unflavorful.

Wouldn’t say don’t eat here, but feel as if my money would have been better spent at another restaurant.
