The Genersl Tso’s chicken was inedible. The chicken looked undercooked and was stringy. And the vegetable fried rice did not have a lot of vegetables and the rice and vegetables were not fresh at all. Maybe Wednesday evening is an off night? But I don’t want to chance ordering again from here. Very disappointing as Tuxedo Park does not have a lot of food options.

First timer ordering at this location and possibly my last time. I had ordered fried rice w/beef lo mein. Rice was undercooked and lo mein didn’t have much beef. I doubled the hot sauce since this order didn’t have any flavor. I definitely don’t recommend eating here. I had ordered on Tuesday June 25, 2024.

I have ordered from here many times over the years. I have found it to be normally decent food and never had an issue. Although I do find the pork fried rice a little lite on flavor. I add soy sauce to help.
They have a couple of tables to eat in, but I always order to go. It is a little tight at the tables. I have found them pretty consistent over the years, and would say to give them a try.

Hunan Garden sucks sorry to say. The guy who took our order cant understand basic English. I was sitting next to my wife when she placed our order. She ordered Chicken And Broccoli dark sauce and one Chicken and Broccoli in white sauce. Wouldn’t you know the order was missing the Chicken and Broccoli in white sauce. She was very methodical when ordering. They refused to make good and deliver my order. I live 3 minutes away. They wanted me to come back. The dude screwed up so make good for it and deliver it to my house . Again I was 3 minutes away. So we are done with Hunan Garden. Never to return. Tin Tin2 @ in Monroe.

Definitely the best Chinese takeout I’ve ever had! Good prices, good portions, and very friendly staff. The lo mein and sesame chicken are both my favorites. Definitely a good place to get a meal if you’re in the area! They don’t really have space to dine in but that’s expected for Chinese places in the area. Takeout is very well packaged though so there’s no worries.
