Bad Summer Vintage (Matt)
Delicious carry-out! I have been coming here for years, and it’s rarely disappointed. Owners are friendly and have a lot of experience, service is quick and food is awesome. Highly recommend the General Tso’s Chicken with combination fried rice; best Chinese food I’ve had anywhere.

Food is very good, albeit chock full of celery and carrots. Pictured is the portion after I took out the root veggies. This was $10 and came with an eggroll, but they provided no napkins or utensils.
Now lets discuss the service. I went in, ordered, paid cash, waited in my car. When I walked back over to pick up my food (I could see it sitting on the counter), there was another customer 3-4 feet inside the doorway. Due to COVID, they have it set up where only one person can walk into the business at a time and stand in this man-made alcove. While they stand another 10-feet away behind their counter.
So I opened the door, stood outside on the sidewalk, behind the open door, while wearing my mask. I hoped they would see me and just hand me my order. Nope, the owner began yelling and gesturing for me to close the door; rude.
Now I wanted for several minutes as they helped the customer inside the store, ignoring me and my order that sat on the counter getting cold. This customer was having a difficult time communicating, nor did he understand the items on the menu, and I guess he was placing a pretty large order.
Between the other customer being inside the store more than 3-feet, and me being outside the store more than 3-feet, social distancing was not an issue.
When the other customer **finally** left, the lady who took my order asked me how she could help me. Um, hand me my order? It took longer for them to give me my food than for them to even make it.
They were just nasty about helping me when I returned to pick up my food. Not friendly, or grateful for my business, just rude.

I ordered a veggie steam dumpling. I have ordered it before. Today the sauce that comes with the duming seem to be left over from some one else’s. Normally it is very clear wiyh a few specks of garlic. Today is totally different. I called, the person said it is pepper. I looked at it, some were pepper but other veggie is there. Judge for yourself.

Worst food ever! I’m not even sure if it was chicken. Ordered Kung Pao chicken with fried rice and got something unidentifiable. Carrots were huge chunks and crunchy, not sure what the other veggie was. Looked like the end cap of cauliflower. Threw it away and ordered something else on DD. Lady was nice but wasted $14.

I NEVER write reviews but we just ordered from here and were VERY impressed with the taste of the food. The fried rice was not clumpy, the spring roll was not greasy and over crispy and the crispy beef was SO good. VERY shocked at the negative reviews. Noticed the portions were more for 1 person and we normally split something and have so much leftover. We like quality of quantity. Would have given a 5 star but its a bit pricey for the portion amount.

I think I have gotten food from here about 4-5 times, and each time the food was worse than before. I kept hoping it was just a fluke. No, the food here is oily, greasy, overcooked, and positively tasteless. Whoever heard of tasteless Chinese food?? This last time I got egg foo yung and it was the same way. Terrible food! It gave both me and my daughter an upset stomach. We will not be getting food from here again. And, no, their customer service is only just passing the civility line.

I just ordered from this place for the first time in my life I’m not from me and from Boston with asking how to make Chinese food. This food is the most disgusting food I’ve ever ordered in my life & wouldn’t send my worst enemy there’!! Absolutely rubbish So bad it’s going in the trash ️.
