The first time I went I was hooked. the food was 10 out of 10, Literally saved me. Fantastic service And our waiter had a big personality which I love. Well I could so much we decided to have it for Christmas, And the flavors are still so awesome even when reheated. This has become my favorite Chinese food place! It’s cute inside, too. In my experience They’ve always handled any miscommunications in a kind and professional way. I like the sweet-and-sour pork , steamed rice, chow mein, egg roll , cheese puff, And hot tea. Great prices, great food, great staff. 100% Recommend

Food was good, random mop water smell when you walk in, waiter was literally dragging his feet as he walked by, drink was not refilled (water…), menus didn’t match, could see random storage boxes near kitchen. Would come back but not the best experience for sure.

My favorite Chinese food place in Humboldt! I’ve tried a bunch of different meals here and this place is a take-out staple for me now. The chow mein is AMAZING- it’s flavorful, full of yummy veggies, and not mushy like other places. I also really like their sesame chicken!! It’s crispy on the outside and is even good for leftovers (which we always seem to have because the portion sizes are big). Hunan Eureka is reliable, fast, convenient, and consistent. Oh- and their lemonades with boba are delicious! 🙂 All in all, I highly recommend Hunan Eureka to anyone looking for diverse options for Chinese food.

Ok, the. CRISPIEST orange chicken I’ve ever had. So fresh. Not chewy and or too much batter. This was perfection. AND it was a $5 lunch bowl! The portions were huge, taste was impeccable. Absolutely will grab another lunch bowl. Yes please!

The server decided to talk to us about an inappropriate joke involving a blow-up doll. The appetizer was burnt had order super sampler egg rolls overcooked butterfly shrimp burnt the cheese wontons totally burnt at the top. The main dish that we ordered. The triple hunan. Special had so much broth thought it was a soup. This is the second time they’ve disappointed us on our order. We will not be going back. And the super sampler was just dumped into a bag with the rest of the order sitting on top. Very disappointing.

We’ve been here a few times and have had great experiences every time. The staff are friendly, the service is great, the prices are good (especially the lunch specials), and the food is tasty. Plus they have more vegetarian options than a lot of other places which I appreciate.

honestly, they are so disorganized with their promo codes and customer service. They scolded me for changing my order on the lunchbowl from steamed rice to fried rice. apparently, it takes them two minutes to make it, but they dish it out to you in 15. so because I didn’t change my order within two minutes, I had a crazy lady with a stick up the butt telling me it’s my fault and that I shouldn’t do that. because when I’m ordering food, I love to get negative feed back on how I should do that.

I was so excited to try this restaurant after several failed attempts at decent Chinese food. I drove from Mckinleyville paid 27 dollars for soggy orange chicken which was 95 percent breading and maybe 5 percent chicken and a half order of wonton soup which was very bland. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to find decent Chinese food in Humboldt County. The only place I’ve discovered with good quality food out of 7 tries has been Wok in Wok out. I don’t even know how to make Chinese food however, I’m sure I could have prepared a much better meal myself. I tried to add a photo but wouldn’t let me. Truly disgusting!

Solid. Lunch special for $10 is darn good deal. Everything was decent. I wish the egg roll was hotter it would’ve been really good. The two young servers were very friendly. Please play different music lol
