We were very impressed with the location, food, and service here. We ate at about 4pm so granted they were not busy. Our server was courteous and attentive. I had Shrimp With Vegetables and my wife had Chicken and Rice. These were excellent dishes, especially the Shrimp. I am on a low-sodium diet so I appreciated that the stir fry was not salty, so each customer can use the soy sauce as desired for sodium. We also had the steamed dumplings – the dumplings were large, fresh, steamed perfectly and the dipping sauce was very tasty. The egg rolls were fresh and crispy flaky, with great sauces for these. The place was spotless clean with a quaint, authentic atmosphere. We will definitely go back here and recommend highly to others.

Clean. Good service. Hot food. Spicy wasn’t very spicy. Chopped chicken and shrimp in Chef’s Special Tofu were VERY small. Mushrooms, tofu and broccoli were excellent. House special chili pot was very good but not spicy. Hot and sour soup wasn’t hot either but it was good. Egg rolls and wonton were excellent. Reasonable price.

Glad this restaurant survived the pandemic well. Now that the buffet is back, they are back up to being one of the busiest restaurants in town. Having lived in Denver for a 20 years before moving back, I can say that compared to there, the food measures up to average with a small number of shining moments like the chili hot pot. For this town, however, you will not find better for the price. In Cortez, one can’t be too picky. This is not a large town. Atmosphere is great and they bring treats from Asia that is not easily had for miles. It is my kind of place.

Arrived hangry after a day of touring national parks and a little before closing but this place did not disappoint. The waitress serving us was attentive and food arrived quick and hot. I ordered the chicken chow mein and it was delicious. Highly recommend this place to any in the area!
