Small seating area, and not a huge buffet, but the food was very good and fresh. Still plenty of choices and refilled regularly with fresh food.

1st time back in a while, they had my fave, Egg fu young, rice and gravy, the crab Rangoon n sauce were great. Stuffed crabs and good soups ND salad bar.

This is my favorite Chinese Restuarant. The staff is friendly. The food is good. The price is reasonable. I wish they had discounts for military and seniors. The vegetable plates are my favorite. That is, my vegetable plate prepared from selections from the buffet. They have shrimp and crawfish on the buffet. I tried it once and it tasted very good, but it was very very messy peeling the shrimp and crawfish. I had to wash my hands again after finishing peeling those. The ice cream is a treat that I do not partake every visit. Miss Emily, my server today said that the ice cream is non-dairy. I should have inquired how, but I was interested in the jello and if it was sugar free. She did not think so. Their buffet never serm to change, except for the shrimp and crawfish which can be seasonal.

Hunan is a timeless classic in Foley. After over 30 years dining here, they still do an amazing job. The staff is very friendly, and you get way more than you pay for. Their buffet is hot, fresh and full of variety. You can get the buffet to go and fill your box up as much as you want for $8. Also, if you decide to order from the menu and take it to go, the box will be overflowing. What an amazing value. In Foley, there are very few businesses that have remained the same since I was a kid… Hunan is one that has been in the same spot all these years. There really is a lot to be said for a local small business like that to have stood the test of time in a city that developed as fast as Foley.

You’ll get full and the food comes out to the buffet often. Very busy lunch spot! I would have liked some healthier choices as I’m watching my intake of fried and salty foods.
