Great values but with limited seating. Pretty flavorful selection and a small but busy place. This restaurant is a destination for many thus serve up some great food.
We ordered the lamb and fish soup which was a great comfort meal for a January cool day. The hot soup warm our spirit and enhance our appetite. However, the authentic 宫保鸡usually don’t served with vegetable.
Regardless, we enjoyed our large portion meals with attentive front servers even though they were quite busy.
Recommended highly and will revisit if we are in town.

This is easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in town. I really enjoyed the food here. While Americanized Chinese food is common across the U.S., finding high-quality, authentic, and spicy Chinese cuisine is rare. I noticed a lot of Asian diners, which is always a good sign that the place serves genuinely appealing food.
The restaurant specializes in Sichuan and Hunan cuisine. I ordered a pepper chicken dish, lamb on a toothpick, and mapo tofu, along with house chicken fried rice. Everything was outstanding—highly recommended. Honestly, I found it even better than Three Gorges.
The interior was nicer than expected for what I thought would be more of a takeout spot. While they could improve the aesthetics, the food is so good that it really doesn’t matter.

Very authentic food and friendly service! Everything we tried was delicious, including the eggplant, the noodles and green onion, ginger chicken, egg drop corn soup, mapo tofu (I asked for it to be mild since I’m not good with spicy food) and it was all fantastic. Nice drink options also, including a sweet bean drink I enjoyed. Will definitely be going back!

Ning, the owner and Wendy our server were very welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious, they respected our spice tolerance level, it was flavorful but not unbearably too hot. Loved the eggplant and minced pork, the mapo tofu was top notch and the green beans with garlic were scrumptious. Will be back soon with more friends.

This is our go-to place for authentic Chinese food. We’ve tried many different places in searching for a good Chinese restaurant and this is the only place we keep coming back whenever we are craving for some Chinese dishes in the entire Austin metropolitan area.
The price is very reasonable and it is very easy to order food here using the iPad that they provide because you can see the picture of each dish on the iPad when you order.

The flavors were excellent and really authentic. Compared to other Chinese restaurants, it felt a lot less greasy. I got it to-go and enjoyed it at home—super delicious and definitely worth recommending.

Great Chinese food! A bit more authentic than the average. The flavours are great – if it was a little spicier with all dishes, it would have hit the spot.
The noodles had a great texture, while the stir fried pork were amazingly cooked.

It was an unexpected foodie stop for me and my friend after a work out! Authentic Chinese food with menu out of this world! The friendly server (he may be part owner)spoke great English. Clients are mainly Chinese as they speak mandarin! I am not a fan of fusion and being in this place almost felt like I was in a travel warp! Recommended! Price was reasonable—-surely a bonus

The Dan Dan noodle here may just be the best I’ve ever had! 夫妻肺片,金牌笋干菜扣肉 were flavorful as well. I am looking forward to coming back regularly to try the rest of the menu. There’s about 6 tables in the restaurant, and only 1 front of house lady taking orders, bussing the tables. They are currently using to go containers to serve the dishes and party cups for water; probably because they’re so short staffed — I don’t really mind, but just in case you are considering going for a special occasion.

Hunan stir fried pork and hot sour soup are excellent. The level of spiciness is just nice especially the sliced fish fillet in chili oil. Overall food is great and comforting.
