In 2017 the love for BBQ brought us (Tino & Rosa) together, while working side by side in the restaurant industry. Fastforward to 2021, we decided to open up our own bbq concept, incorporating our Mexican roots and love for BBQ. After 2 years of working on the perfect recipes, in April 2023 we opened up Humo Barbecue. Our fusion of American barbecue and Mexican ingredients turned into a concept that we refer to as Mexicue. Not to be confused with TexMex or Mexican Bbq.

This was my 1st visit & I was very pleased. The ribs we’re tender and very flavorful. I had the half boil, brisket, burnt ends & mac n cheese. Everything tasted good. Our server was friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable.

If I could give this place a 20 out of 10, I would! They have a full bar… Plenty of seating… Great music and ABOVE all their food is phenomenal. I ordered the tostada flight as well as the pork sandwich the brussels sprouts and the burnt ends. Everything was fantastic. I can’t wait to go back and try all the other things!! I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long for my first visit

We decided to visit for the first time after seeing their Instagram story, and the restaurant is tucked away on the outer edge of the Vegas Strip. You can tell the building has been well-loved and maintained. The atmosphere is decent, and the food comes out quickly with great presentation.
We’re big BBQ fans, and while the smoke flavor was fine, it wasn’t anything exceptional. I ordered the tostada plate, which comes with three small tostadas brisket, chicken, and another beef. Those were great, and the chicken was amazing. 2nd order ribs and sides. The ribs, however, needed a bit more time; the meat didn’t come off the bone easily, so they were just okay overall.

Great BBQ and worth the drive!
I’ll start by saying I don’t usually go to places I see on Instagram or TikTok — but my son asked if we could check this one out, so we made the drive. Totally worth it in the end!
First impression: the place looks kinda closed from the outside (half the signage is out, so maybe fix that, guys). But don’t worry, it’s definitely open during normal business hours.
We walked in and were greeted right away. The hostess asked if we wanted a booth or table, we went with a booth. The dining room isn’t huge, but it’s clean and comfortable. Looks like they do a lot of takeout, too. Our waitress could’ve been a little more upbeat, but the food runner totally made up for it — super friendly and took time to explain everything.
We ordered the Grande Family Platter ($110) which came with:
• Full rack of pork ribs
• 1 lb pulled pork
• 1 lb brisket
• 1 qt Hatch chili mac & cheese
• 1 qt sweet & spicy Brussels sprouts
• 6 Hawaiian garlic biscuits
• Plus pickles and pickled onions
Everything came out hot and fresh. The smoke was on point, the flavors were fantastic, and the OG BBQ sauce was legit — a little spicy but really balanced.
All in all, great food, solid service, and definitely worth checking out. You won’t be disappointed!

This pace has been on my radar for awhile and I am glad that I got a chance to check it out veggie heading back home. We ordered a variety of items on the menu just because it all sounded good. The barbacoa tacos, burnt ends, ribs, brisket, and hot link were all tasty. I did really enjoy their Hatch Chile Mac & Cheese and street corn as well. I really don’t think you can go wrong with anything here.

We finally got to try Humo barbecue and it did not disappoint. Their concept is a fusion of Mexican and American barbecue. If you’re a meat lover, this is your place!
We ordered the half rack, mouthwatering ribs, Barbacoa tacos, sliced brisket, half roasted chicken, and an order of fries. Our favorite were the ribs and tacos.
The prices were great, the service was fabulous!

This barbecue spot is really good, it surprise me. The host was straight forward not friendly. It took a while for our server to come to the table. But when she did and the drinks and food came out, the story changed… delicious margarita and the platter was amazing however the Mac n cheese just not my style. The dessert was just enough to satisfy the sweet tooth. Really good place, I would go back and recommend!!

Met up with a friend for lunch. I had this place on my list and she had been here and confirmed it was good. Located in a commercial plaza so parking was easy to find. We were quickly seated. She knew what she wanted and I took a few moments to look at the menu. I ended up going w to meats and one side. Requested the brisket and burnt ends along with the street corn. Wow the meat was delicious and juicy. The sauce was on point. We sat in a booth. There was plenty of art around and that added to the atmosphere. We sat there and talked for quite awhile.

Bbq wasn’t really all that. It would be like any other chain restaurant that sells bbq. The food wasn’t bad it just wasn’t as good as we thought it would be. We thought with it having Mexican food options it would give it a great twist on things but unfortunately that flavor we were hoping for just wasn’t there. Great staff & clean place.
