We’ve enjoyed Hull’s every visit to Ormond Beach for the last 4 years!
For fresh local fish and shrimp cooked to perfection- it’s a must. Each server every year – delightful and knowledgable on the fish on the menu! Joey – was our waiter this year and he was everything you expect and admire from a server. Friendly and welcoming as if though he wanted us to come back!
And we will be back – we recommend you try it when in Ormond Beach ! Make sure to get the blueberry hush puppies for dessert!

We stopped by on Sunday afternoon after a cruise, based on a friend’s recommendation — and we are so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. The service was excellent, and every dish we tried was delicious and fresh.
We even had the chance to speak with (I believe) the owner, who took the time to chat with us about the restaurant’s story and offered a few personal recommendations. One of those was the blueberry hush puppies — which sounded unusual at first, but wow, they were amazing! Sweet, savory, and perfectly cooked — definitely a must-try.
The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and you can tell the team really takes pride in what they do. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great seafood and genuine Southern hospitality!

As the only non-seafood diner at our table, it was odd that my burger took the longest to come out (over 15+ min after all the other food). Apparently they’d done something wrong so they remade it. They took the price off the ticket, which was very kind.
The white cheddar Mac and cheese was delicious. The burger and fries were fine; nothing to write home about. Hubby’s shrimp was mediocre and blackened grouper was just ok. Coleslaw was really good. Clam chowder was similar to a potato soup. Salad was typical. Drinks were nice a strong.
The hushpuppies were so delicious! And the blueberry dessert hush puppies were outstanding!!! It would have been a full 5 stars if we were eating on those alone.
Others at our tablet seemed to like their meals. It was nice that they could accommodate our group of 7. Atmosphere was diner-like.

A must do when in town. Seafood is always fresh. Plates are pretty big. Probably the best hush puppies around. Service is wonderful. You can also bring your fur friends if you sit out in the patio, they just cannot sit on the chairs. They will bring out some water for your fur friends.

Some of the best food I’ve had in a looong time!! The gator was delicious, the fries perfect, the crab cake bites full of flavor, and our server angella was wonderful. Quick service. We took the blueberry hush puppies to go and they were amazing. Can’t wait to come back here again!!

Had a good experience at the seafood restaurant. I was disappointed because I came for the blue crabs. They have a dozen on their menu for only $29.99, but unfortunately they were not in stock. But they did have everything else under the sea! The crab legs were outstanding… fresh and well seasoned. The sheepshead fish was fried to perfection. The blue crab soup was tasty and packed with crab meat. This is a very large restaurant with both indoor and out door seating. They also have a large, full bar with plenty of beer, wine and cocktail choices. A cosmopolitan is only $8 here. Kitchen area was very clean. Restaurant was quiet. The lady who seated me wasn’t very friendly, but the servers were phenomenal. Kind, professional and knowledgeable about menu. I would definitely return… hoping for the crabs next time. Food was fresh and delicious, ambiance was fun. I felt like we were on an ocean deck even though we were in the middle of town. They they have indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of Ocean decor. Well decorated both inside and out for a seaside feel. Clean, friendly. The gumbo was my favorite.

I ordered the Black & Blue (blackened swordfish with blue cheese butter & caramelized onions) it was delicious! This is the best fish I have ate while I have been in Daytona. Also the drunken sailor drink, lives up to its name.
Overall it was definitely money well spent! The prices are very reasonable and cheaper than most other restaurants in the area.

Absolutely LOVED our first visit to Hull’s this evening with my husband on our annual vacation to Daytona. Our server, Angella, was super attentive, kind, & helpful. The atmosphere was pleasant; You could choose to eat inside or outside. We ordered Fried Provolone Triangles for appetizers (very good). For our entrees, I ordered fresh catch Shark (I requested grilled) and my husband went with Fried Grouper. Both entrees came with two hush puppies and two sides. I chose Fresh Veggies & Florida Blue Crab Gumbo while my husband chose Red Potatoes & Coleslaw. Both meals also came with Tarter Sauce and Cocktail Sauce. Our food was fresh and all cooked to perfection. I absolutely loved my meal choices! It was my first time trying shark and a blue crab gumbo. I would definitely order my dish again! Portion size and price were very fair! Hull’s will definitely be a stop we dine at every year on vacation from here on out! Highly recommend to all seafood lovers!
