They were featured on a couple episodes on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri raving about the food. I decided to try it since I’ve lived just down the road for over 3 years. I’m happy to report it is not overrated. It is a little pricey but I believe it is mostly justified on cost. My wife and I had the Philly Cheesesteak with fries ($12.00 + $3.00 each) and it was all delicious. There is a proper amount of veggies on this sandwich and the steak itself is tender but cooked to perfection. The menu changes all the time so I’m excited to try some of the other items when my sad bank account replenishes. My children had grilled cheeses which made me laugh because this may be considered one of the fanciest places on this side of town. But kids will be kids. They serve you fountain drinks by the can or bottle, so don’t expect to quench your thirst here without dropping a few bucks. The service was really nice, at least the lady who helped us was. She was alone in the bar to help around 8-10 people and did a good job. The atmosphere inside has an old homey/rustic feel to it, with a lot of history on the walls.

A little bit off the beaten path but it was a nice Sunday morning drive. The restaurant is quirky and rustic. It’s the type of place where you order at the register and they give you a number and bring the food to your table. We selected this restaurant because 2 of us really wanted omelets, but omelets were not listed as an option on the single page menu on a clipboard they handed us. I ordered huevos rancheros (minus cheese), others ordered a breakfast sandwich and French toast. It’s was good. Nothing amazing. Served in flimsy paper trays with plastic forks, but cooked just liked we ordered so everybody was happy. Since we ate breakfast so late, I had already had coffee so I didn’t get a chance to try it. Maybe they’ll be awake earlier next time as I’m sure we’ll give them another try sometime when we’re in-town on a Sunday morning. (Four stars for limited menu and served in disposable paper trays.)

A nice little diner to socialize and hangout! It can be very confusing when you come in, as not all parts of the diner are open at all times, and every day they have a “special” type of food day (Friday is Pizza), but once you figure out where to get seated and what’s on the menu, everything is cozy and has a nice old fashioned western diner vibe. We had the Key Lime Pie as well, and it was very good (but also very dense and strong flavored, so some may not like it)! The bar is nice but is pretty limited in the drinks they offer (not a full service bar). Service was super nice, and checked on us often. Overall, a really nice experience, and I wish we could’ve explored the entire diner area! We’ll definitely be coming back to try another day.

The food was really good! But it’s not in a diner. The diner they brought from New York is for reservations or parties, etc. They built onto the side of the diner. Its really rustic and has a nice atmosphere. Basically a restaurant with a rustic theme but their food is really good. When you order you have to get away from the table, stand in line and order and then go back to your table. if you want condiments and coffee, you have to get up from the table and go get it. There’s not any wait staff . But, it’s a really nice place and good food. Just wanted to let you know there’s no diner so to speak. I would have given it a five, but there’s no wait staff and it’s not in the antique diner as you see in pictures. Also, they don’t take reservations. There’s very little seating, and they do not answer their phone.

The quality of food was fairly good. The Elvis Fries didn’t really have the cheese melted on them and were a little cold in the center. Because of that we took them home and heated them up later. They were much better the second time! For the price, the serving size of the cheese curds was a let down – but they did taste good! My s/o said the French toast had too many chocolate chips on it and I agreed- it was too sweet for our liking. These are knit picky comments regarding some of what we tried! This why I still am giving 4 stars. Absolutely go there if you want a good burger or breakfast tacos. I think they were training the lady that was working the register. The food all came fairly quickly, but I think they need more signage as to where you go to order walking from the entrance into the bar. We kinda wandered around a bit! If you were taking someone on a first date though I would definitely recommend this over some other breakfast/brunch menus in town!

By far the best breakfast food in the area!!!! The only issue is just waiting in line but once we sat down , the food came out in like 10 minutes tops!!!!!! And also the cinnamon roll was unbelievable. Thank you for the great food and service ! Will be coming again soon

Oh my goodness! Just imagine a cold brew, excellent pizza, and country decor, add a few fire pit tables, AND that’s only half the experience! A diner is connected for those AM folks. Well-done!

It took forever to figure out how to get to the actual restaurant. It is difficult to find the entrance or actual business hours for this business.

Prompt and very friendly service. The barbeque scramble with peppers, onions, smoked sausage, potatos, grits and eggs was delicous. The bisquits & gravy with eggs and hashbrowns was also very good. The staff came over to ensure that we were enjoying our meal. The operation was efficient: grab a menu, order and pay at the register, get a number and then pick a table. We sat outside in front. The staff promptly brought our food to our table. Next time I think we’ll try one of the tables in the back. There is plenty of parking, and the location right off of Wellborn is very convenient. The antique diner and rustic style provide a very pleasant ambiance.

A very nostalgic vibe and mellow environment! I’ve heard it’s a bit more crowded on the weekend. The philly cheesesteak was absolutely delicious and so were the train wreck fries! My husband ordered the meatloaf and wasn’t too impressed and neither was I. It was a bit dry and perhaps he should’ve ordered it with the red sauce? The waitress was super nice! We will definitely be back with our kiddos.
