Found a bar in my backyard(ish) thanks to r/Columbus. Located just north of Columbus in Powell. Highly recommend the Tiki Fries (not pictured).

First time visiting, and it was great! They’ve really nailed the tiki lounge aesthetic and the Christmas decor, music, and menu were a nice touch for this time of year. Did not try the food this time, but the cocktails were all very good and reasonable price especially for the experience. Service was great, friendly. We were seated quickly but they were pretty busy (Friday night). Only complaint was seating was not the most comfortable (outdoor furniture style seating), but it did match the atmosphere. We will definitely go back.

Finally got there tonight.
Our server Simon was EXCELLENT. He gave us a detailed explained of the menu and sauces, made recommendations and explained the flavors in each dish. What an awesome job he did. Thank you!
Food was outstanding. I had the mochigo Chicken and my wife had the huli chicken
Everything was outstanding… Will return repeatedly.
Value was good as well. 3 drinks, one appetizer and 2 entrees was less than $100
I will say. The portions aren’t HUGE, but I appreciate them trying to remain reasonable. The dishes easily could’ve been $25.

This was such a fun place. The drinks are well crafted and the Hawaiian food was amazing. The service was amazing. He took the time to explain the food and drinks. Loved his recommendation. Took me back to the big island for sure.

We came in at 9PM on a busy Saturday evening. After a 15-minute wait, we were seated at the bar. The bartender took our drink order fairly quickly and brought our drinks promptly. That was the last time we saw him. Half an hour later, we closed our tab and left. We had intended on having dinner, too, but he never came back to ask us if we’d like to order anything. I understand that it was busy, but it wasn’t so chaotic that he couldn’t have taken our order in that time frame. My drink was also so strong that I took two sips and left it on the bar when we left. It tasted like rubbing alcohol and not like any of the flavors that were supposed to be in it.

It is a tiki bar with an identity crisis. The cocktail are true tiki and feel is tiki but too many families.
I want a traditional tiki bar feel with strong drinks and no families or children. But giving the location I assume it makes economic sense to have families.

Huli Huli is a very nice tiki bar in the middle of a bit of a tiki desert. The theming is solid, but not to the level of other more immersive tiki bars.
We sampled a handful of eats and drinks. We were all most impressed by the tempura broccoli! It was perfectly fried and extremely tasty. The pork plate with Hawaiian macaroni salad was very good as well!
Our first round of drinks was good. They were all tasty, but did not hit the depth of flavor that many tiki cocktails do. However, our second round were all fantastic cocktails. The Zombie was one of the best I’ve ever sampled and done with great care for the original recipe. Someone else brought out our second round, so there might have been a staff change that resulted in the improvement.
Definitely worth the visit and a very fun spot!

We came late after a flight on a Thursday, and we were able to get a table with no trouble. The decor was excellent, and they did extra theming for the holidays. They had many interesting holiday specials. We ate the pu pu platter and the tiki fries with mochiko chicken.

My daughter and I treated our husbands to a birthday celebration here this weekend – there was a bit of a mix up with our reservation, however, Rick (Manager) went ABOVE and BEYOND to make it right! I was very impressed all the way around. The atmosphere is amazing – and the food was magical!! The staff were more than attentive. So much fun!! We absolutely plan to visit again!! HIGHLY recommend!

My friends and I came here after a work party for a drink, and the Huli team was awesome. I am the most boring human and order a Tito’s and Diet Coke always, but the bartender made this one fun. Love the vibes and can’t wait to come back and try the food.
