If you like chicken and rice, you can’t go wrong here. $15 out the door with 3 big pieces of chicken with rice and ok tasting macaroni/potato salad.

Went here with my mother on Friday, September 12, 2025. They have so many delicious looking selections! My mother decided to get the Hawaiian BBQ Trio. It is $15.99 plus taxes. You are provided three different types of meat- pork, beef and chicken and macaroni and rice. I chose the fried rice. It was $13.99 plus taxes. They only advertise the Shrimp Fried Rice and since I’m not a Shrimp fan I asked if I could substitute it for a different meat. The attendant said sure would you like beef or chicken. I opted for the beef. She said no problem and substituted the meat for no extra charge. The food came out very hot within 10 minutes! They also provide bar-b-que sauce for each meal, napkins and forks. We both thought that our food tasted really good. We would definitely go back.

Great, friendly customers service. Unfortunately the quality of the food leaves alot to be desired. The chicken katsu sauce its served with doesn’t taste like the one served at L&L or ono. & the chicken katsu wasn’t that good either, to bready, to greasy, & the meat also to greasy. Also, I love pretty much any macaroni salad I encountered the spinoff of potato salad mixed with macaroni salad not so much pretty bland. .
The cheese wonton – u could taste the cooked oil that tasted old & overpowered the flavor.
Very disappointing.

Got the bbq short ribs and chicken katsu. Service was great, food didn’t take too long, and the bbq short ribs were delicious. Unfortunately, that’s the end of the good part. Katsu sauce tasted really weird. It was unlike any other katsu sauce I’ve ever tasted after living in Hawaii for 30 years, and it wasn’t good. The chicken katsu also smelled and tasted odd. It didn’t seem to have panko like any other place does their chicken katsu. Finally, the mac salad was a potato salad and had a vinegary aftertaste. If I were stuck at the same hotel across the street without a car again, I’d probably go back and order bbq short ribs with all rice, but I was disappointed with everything else. As we were finishing, there was another customer that had ordered and paid, but they never got started on his order. He had to wait all over again when they finally did put his order in.

3/5, I may go back again under a limited set of circumstances, but I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

Look, it’s not the best, but it’s also not that bad. They are a small business, and I was shocked by how much food that you get.

Good portions and pretty good flavor, within walking distance from my hotel safe area, not enough parking spots

Just staying in a hotel around the corner and didn’t want McDonald’s leftovers for dinner. Trust me, just eat your leftovers. I don’t know if I’d say the food was nasty like others, but to us, who got BBQ chicken and chicken katsu, it was really tasteless. So unbelievably underseasoned, even after adding whatever sauce was in the containers (guessing katsu sauce?). The BBQ chicken didn’t even come with BBQ sauce. Rice was tasteless. Macaroni salad mediocre. Fortunately the cashier gave us Sriracha, which was the only saving grace… Until I cut into a thicker piece of chicken and found it undercooked Added McDonald’s BBQ sauce to the rice to salvage some kind of dinner since the rest of the chicken had an untrustworthy amount of pink, too. Katsu was cooked through, but flavorless. I only wish we’d looked at the bad reviews before going, but seeing all the negative reviews really made us feel less guilty about not finishing the meal.
