Got the garlic shrimp with short ribs and it was probably the best thing I’ve had! Reminds me so much of Oahu. It’s so flavorful, generous portions, and delicious! I wish I had tried this place sooner, this will definitely be in my weekly rotation since I hate cooking lol. Restaurant is cute and aesthetic, worker working in the front was nice! 10/10

This is kalua pig made by someone who has never had kalua pig before and tried to conjure it based on a verbal description from someone who visited Hawaii once. Take it from a Kailua born and raised native. I could not eat this. This was so incredibly salty and had other flavors going on. They were doing TOO MUCH. The cabbage is fine and pretty typical. The seasoning was overwhelming and like they just there a bunch of stuff in because they thought it needed it.
Mac salad was overcooked, soggy, and just mayo city. No flavor.
The BBQ plate was just not right either. The one thing they got right is they sliced the terri beef super thin but the flavor was weird. It was much better than the kalua pig though.
Sad because I visited the 9 Mile location after they first opened and I thought they were pretty good. Sad to see them miss the mark instead of improve over time.
Service was fast and pleasant and I truly wish them the best I hope they can improve and get the flavors of Hawaii right.
