This is one of my favorite breakfast places because it’s one of the only places where I can get everything I want without paying exorbitant prices for “extras” that should have been included anyway. I always get the hometown legend, it includes 3 meats, potatoes, eggs, french toast/pancake, and toast at a very reasonable price. Anywhere else and you’ll give up an arm and a leg to assemble the same meal. The staff is always friendly and quick.
That said it is an inexpensive meal so align your expectations accordingly, don’t expect top dollar ingredients. But if you enjoy quick and tasty with large portions you’ll like this place

Good service and food tasted homemade, filling, relaxing atmosphere, and waitress was very attentive. Paid $50 for 3 dinners and dessert. I’ve been here several times and only had a bad experience once with long wait of 20-30 mins to be seated and without an order taken so I walked out. You may wait a little longer than expected to receive hot meals but their good and perfect when they do arrive. Raspberry tea tasted like a cheap sugary drink and received a double bacon cheeseburger without the bacon and mayo that was specifically requested but altogether it’s a great place to eat. I know a lot of friends that come here all the time.

First off, you gotta love the name of this restaurant. I haven’t been here before, but it’s the beauty of family restaurants like this that puts comfort in the service as well as the food. I started with the Hugger-Mugger-Hugger wings that were a tangy-smoky-sweet interesting flavor. The portions are plentiful. I had a side of rice with my meal with some of the best chicken gravy anywhere. Erika was a great server who showed pride in her job. The cooks showed pride in the food quality. Definitely a place I wanna come back to. I hope this place continues to go strong.

I have zero complaints about this place. That’s super rare for me! We requested seating for 9 on black friday AM. Although they were very busy, we got seated right away. Drinks within minutes, order, and food to the table within 15 minutes. It was very impressive. As always, I did a bunch of modifications to my meal to make it extra complicated. They got it 100% correct. No gluten-free options. I removed eggs, toast and cheese from my meal, and added sausage links, mushrooms, and green peppers. It was delicious. I would return!!!

have been coming here since it was Pappins. my favorite breakfast/lunch dinner spot EVER. BEST staff, all the girls are great and personable, like Cathy and Kaila for example. I just have one suggestion: gluten free bread please please please! 🙁

This was one of my favorite restaurants in high school that I didn’t get to go to often, but when I did, it was such a special day for me. Recently rediscovered as an adult, and it’s actually better than I remember. Their grilled chicken salad supreme is just… there are actually no words. I haven’t tried that many dishes because when I go there, I know that I’m getting that salad, but I always try what my husband gets (of course), and it’s always been solid. It’s a go to for us, *especially* for their pricing! Doesn’t look too much different from high school, honestly.
*Get the salad with sweet and sour dressing

I love mom & pop diners, this is definitely one of my favorites. Located in New Castle, PA, Hugger Muggers is a must to visit. The menu has some amazing dishes, burgers, sandwich’s & pastas. The staff is great, super friendly & polite. The food is out of this world, I always try something new each time I go. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Seating isn’t a issue, lots of tables and booths. Parking is good, plenty of spaces were available, I strongly recommend this place for a good meal.

Hugger Mugger’s is pretty good for food that taste like it was cooked at home. The portions are also filling. My only gripe is service is hit and miss. Some servers are absolutely horrible, while other servers are very friendly and attentive.

We wanted to find a place to stop to eat before we went to Hill view Manor for the tour. I’m glad I chose this place because it turned out to be fantastic. It’s spacious and cozy with a very large parking lot. The food was delicious and the staff was great. I ordered the mini quesadilla salad. When she brought it out I was so surprised at how large the salad was I thought they made a mistake. But nope she said that is the mini. Lots of food. Highly recommend this place. We all enjoyed our food. BONUS: Served on Fiestaware
