Such a cute little historic downtown spot! The meat is the best BBQ I’ve had. The turkey legs are better than The State Fair of Texas. All their meat is smoked and you can tell! Support small business and make the trip down for sure.

We are grateful to have a delicious bbq option within walking distance. My favorite bbq joint is Lockhart in Bishop Arts, in comparison Hug is a solid 4 stars for flavor and price point. Extra kudos for the Mac and cheese. Their elote is good too, a bit too salty for me but other than that I have no complaints. Their bbq sauce tastes homemade and I loved it. If they’d ever bottle it I would for sure buy it. We look forward to visiting on a regular basis.

This food is AMAZING!! Everything is seasoned perfectly. The Brisket meat just melts in your mouth, the Ribs just fall off the bone, and you can definitely taste the smoke flavor! Oh yeah, let’s not forget about those tasteful sides. You can’t go wrong with any selection. The Brisket Burgers go hard! Yum Yum in the Tum Tum. Trust me, You will not be disappointed.

This is absolutely the most flavorful BBQ I ever had! It’s perfectly cooked, seasoned and smoked! The Brisket Burger, jalapeño sausage, brisket and oh…. Omg the sides!!!
