Huey’s has been bringing Blues, Brews, & Burgers in Memphis since 1970. Perhaps the most unique characteristics of our locations are the graffiti walls, hometown feel and local live music. Our World Famous Huey burgers have been voted Best Burger in Memphis since 1984. Sundays at Huey’s are traditionally known for live music, including jazz, blues and even a little rock from local and regional groups. At the example of the late Thomas Boggs, Huey’s former owner, giving back to the community is one of our top priorities. We are proud to have donated many hours, monetary support and services for countless community organizations, schools, and nonprofits over the years.

Great burgers! Love that they are made to order doneness of meat: medium rare, medium, well, etc. Onion rings are great as well, but a bit stingy, 4 onion rings for $4. Fries are ho-hum, go with something else. Live music on a Sunday night was a pleasant surprise! Great atmosphere.

Looking for late night eats near our hotel and we found Huey’s. Our appetizer of Fried Mushrooms was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Nice and crunchy but not overly bready. The burgers truly lived up to the hype that is on the menu. Tater tots, like the fried mushrooms, were also nice and crunchy. Dessert was also great, we had the brownie with ice cream. The brownie tasted homemade and was warm and soft. Definitely will be back the next time I am near a Huey’s.

Management was rude . Waiters were rude. Made a call to make sure we could eat late and once seated was told the grill was off and we had to leave. And then was told their google page hasn’t been updated for 3 years as an excuse.

The first time I ate here I gave it 4 stars and thought it was ok. I have since eaten at Hueys a few times here and in Memphis. I have found that overall o really enjoy this establishment and the staff is typically most wonderful. Today I had Chloe, she was not only beautiful, but most genuine and attentive. I think it’s fun you can sign your name or leave some words of wisdom on the wall. I’m certain I’ll be back again before to long, it especially a great eat right before a movie.

I had the steak snack which consisted of 5 bite size pieces. I asked for medium rare and it came to the table tender and juicy on a stick in a paper lined plastic snack tray. Not man size but with the accompanying fries it knocked the edge off and tasted great. If you are hungry order the 3 stick meal.

My favorite location. And I work next door to one on Poplar . The staff are great. The place is always clean. I’ve never had complaints about the food we get. They have the best sweet potato fries. They’re waffles!!! Always a good stop before seeing a movie or after a movie for drinks.
