My wife and I had an awesome dinner tonight at Huey’s on Main. We kept hearing good things, and what we heard was right. The food was amazing, and our server, Maddy, was the best. When I asked about meals that were gluten-free she said she wasn’t sure but would go check with the chef to see what he recommends. She was so friendly and professional; a true delight.
The chef recommended the pasta jambalaya but over rice instead of pasta. It was incredible.

My husband goes here alot for lunch and has been trying to get me to come, because its one if not his favorite place to come for lunch in Statesboro, but our schedules just havnt made it possible untill today and my father-in-law is also in town so we all went, I could go on and on about the food! Absolutely delicious and highly recommend!!! The flavors and the freshness of everything was top tier! My father-in-law was blown away! Will definitely be returning! Completely understand why my husband talks about it so much!

Ordered the corn and crab bisque and Jambalaya Pasta. Both came out at the same time so the pasta sat there while I ate the soup. Ordered a drink from the bar had to remind the waitress about it. The bartender was also a waitress and was not minding the bar apparently. Soup had good flavor but was like warm at best. Had a couple of cold bites like they just microwaved it. The chicken in the pasta tastes boiled, no flavor. The sausage had a strong fishy taste. The tomato sauce spices just didn’t work. I took about 3 bites and was done. The piece of bread had no flavor and was hard and crumbly. Applebee’s has a better jambalaya pasta. Here’s how much I didn’t eat.

Really good New Orleans style food. The shrimp creole was amazing.

I went on a Tuesday night and ended up winning at musical trivia and got a fist card to help pay for my meal. I’ll definitely be back another Tuesday night!

We went for our 1st time to Jazz Brunch and it was entertaining and delicious. We had the shrimp po-boy with red beans and rice, then beignets for dessert with raspberry. I would suggest all of it and the music was great.

Absolutely fantastic experience! If you’re craving delicious New Orleans-style cuisine, this place is a must-visit. The flavors were bold, the dishes were perfectly seasoned, and everything was served piping hot. A special shout-out to my amazing servers, Kylee and Katelyn, who made the entire experience even better with their friendly and attentive service. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy incredible food and top-notch service! I’ll definitely be back!

May 2025 Great place for lunch! Good food great service and easy on the wallet. For starters the fried green tomatoes were so good! I ordered the blacked chicken po’boy with sweet potato fries. My friend ordered the gumbo. We both enjoyed our entrees. It was a great experience. Will def go again!***update***7/23/25 Great place for dinner! Amazing food and service again! I highly reccomend the shrimp and grits! Soooo good! Also the fried catfish was delish—BIG portions of fish! Oh and pasta jambalaya is also a delish choice. Highly recommend giving this place a try. **Another update 9/13/25**This time I went for Sunday brunch. By far best brunch I’ve had in a long time! Live music awesome food and good service! Reccomend the Pontchartrain omelette w/gouda grits(and coffee for $13), eggs Benedict, create your own omelette and beignets. In addition to Saturday and Sunday brunch now serving breakfast tuesday-sunday!!

Hang on y’all, I think they finally got it together. The last time I went there was only because friends who hadn’t been there wanted to try it. I decided to take one for the team. I had been there 3 other times, the service was not good the food was okay to good, if you even got what you ordered. It was over all disappointing. Not a place I was ever going to go back to. BUT…this last time the service and food was great. I don’t know what changed, the chef? The servers? I think both! I had the Buttermilk fried chicken with red beans and rice and would definitely recommend this dish. Everyone in our group was pleased. Give it a try.

EVERY single dish here is phenomenal! They have the best shrimp and grits I have ever eaten, and I have eaten it at many places! The barbecue shrimp is awesome, and the beignets with the vanilla bourbon cream are unbeatable! I highly reccomend this restaurant.

My wife and I love coming here. She is from Louisiana, and this place is a taste of home for her. The shrimp etouffee, the jambalaya, and the gumbo are all outstanding. The poboys are amazing. The beignets are can’t-miss. The service is always great. Highly recommended!
