Huey’s has been bringing Blues, Brews, & Burgers in Memphis since 1970. Perhaps the most unique characteristics of our locations are the graffiti walls, hometown feel and local live music. Our World Famous Huey burgers have been voted Best Burger in Memphis since 1984. Sundays at Huey’s are traditionally known for live music, including jazz, blues and even a little rock from local and regional groups. At the example of the late Thomas Boggs, Huey’s former owner, giving back to the community is one of our top priorities. We are proud to have donated many hours, monetary support and services for countless community organizations, schools, and nonprofits over the years.

Fantastic service from my waitress. I ordered a Spinach Salad and the West Coast Burger ( double patty) both were good. The burger was amazing! Cooked perfectly! I do have two complaints: 1.) the bespectacled manager brought my burger and laughed when she put the basket on my table that the guacamole slid off the sandwich. It actually looked terrible and maybe a better effort with presentation would have been nice; 2.) both my salad and burger were adorned with a large chunk of red onion. I like eating the sliced onions but those pieces didn’t do anything to make the meal look better or more appealing(see photos).Slice the onion.

In Memphis for a conference and one of my coworkers suggested Huey’s. We were greeted and sat right when we came through the door. Our server was Robyn. She was at our table within 30 seconds to greet us warmly and take a drink order. She was very friendly, professional and charming. This continued throughout our meal. The food was great but the service from Robyn was excellent. Prices were very good and the atmosphere was fun.

There is plenty to share. Order blue cheese dressing for dipping, absolutely heavenly!!! The decor is eccentric with lots of interesting memobliia displayed. The service was fantastic; efficient, fast and friendly! This is my second visit to a Huey’s, but first visit to this downtown location. Very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Huey’s is a great place to dine alone or with friends/family. The atmosphere and menu appropriate for all ages. Huey’s has a full service bar for adult beverages. When you visit Memphis, look for a Huey’s, you will not be disappointed!!!

Got the smash burger which was not very smashed, but very good. The burger sauce is a huge winner. Got the sausage and cheese plate to start, and that was pretty yum. Also ordered was a Philly, French Onion soup and shrimp poboy, nothing disappointing! Turns out my son doesn’t remember ever eating steak cut fries, and they are served without salt, which I appreciate. The service was really great. They have a bunch of customer testimonies on the wall and lots of character, and I like that. They had a good selection of beers on tap, and a full bar, while still being pretty family friendly. Overall a great place that I’d be happy to return to.

I also ordered onion rings.

We just went here because we were hungry and looked for anything open, this place was so amazing. Literally the best meal I’ve had in so long, and our server Robin was so attentive and provided great service. WILL be back asap. Thank you, Robin!!
