This place was delicious and I don’t understand some of the other reviews. My experience was great. The place serves chicken tenders, fries and garlic bread for a very reasonable price. It’s also located in the student union which I thought was super good location for it.
Service was super quick and the person working was super nice. The menu was pretty expansive with the sauces which I also appreciated, but i did enjoy the magoos sauce.
Definitely recommend this place to anyone searching for food near the union. Amazing.

I’ve been here 4 times in the last couple of months and it’s always bad. The fried food taste like old oil, the grilled strips and burnt, the bread (if I actually get any) is so hard you can’t even bite into it. All around – don’t go here.

I’ve never had Huey Magoos before and it’s the best casual dining chicken strips place I’ve been to. The salad was fresh with greens, not just the typical chopped iceberg and romaine blend. I’ve read they’re trying to expand West and I hope they do. I like the options available as opposed to other chicken strip themed places. I got an extra order for lunch the following day as well. The flavor of the chicken was excellent and better than the competition! Thanks

I ordered a wrap with breaded chicken and they straight up forgot to add the chicken in. I’m honestly impressed how they managed to forget to add the chicken in their chicken tender wrap. They also didn’t even wrap it, they just folded it over like a taco. 9 dollars by the way. Please avoid this place.

I’ve had plenty of good experiences at other Heuy Magoos. However, in my two times visiting this location, once I got food poisoning and once my tenders were so ridiculously small that I could eat all of them like nuggets. They also don’t toss their chicken in sauce. Overall a very disappointing location, would avoid. Image below is my 3 “tenders” that I paid 7 dollars for ♂️

So I understand that their prices are up, but their chicken is becoming terrible in portion. Seriously, you could perhaps call it something other than Huey Magoo’s Chicken Tenders. Maybe Huey Magoo’s Doves Tenders?

Today was my first time visiting this restaurant. I picked up food for someone who’s never eaten anything here before. We got five chicken tenders in one meal three and another and only two tiny cups of sauce. Because I was not sure which sauce the other person would like I asked for two spicy and two plain Magoo sauce. I was told I had to be charged for more sauce I guess we won’t be returning. Thanks for the great first time experience though? Also the unsweet tea urn could be cleaned soon to avoid that nasty flavor. It’s unfortunate but I didn’t even get a receipt. Definitely won’t recommend this place to anyone.

The food was pretty good , this issue with this establishment is the lack of up keeping , teas were out , tables were not wiped clean and no ketchup was provided . The majority of the employees there were college student that want to be there or care about the responsibility of up keeping the spot for future business . I would not go back to this particular spot , Millenium was way better .
