Huey Magoo’s was founded in 2004 by Matt Armstrong and Thad Hudgens, two southern boys with a passion for quality chicken and a penchant for serving others. Now, former executives from one of the fastest-growing franchise chains, Wingstop, have partnered with the founders from Huey Magoo’s. Both partners have taken their similar passion and bullseye focus for the perfect chicken tender by crafting it into everything that Huey Magoo’s offers today. At Huey Magoo’s we serve only REAL tenders made from the tenderloin. It’s the filet mignon and the best 3% of the chicken. Our tenders are all-natural, with no antibiotics ever, no hormones, no steroids, and no preservatives. The beautiful part of it all is that whether you’re having our tender…

We checked this place out for lunch recently and it was just ok. We were looking for a quick meal and found this in the food court. They don’t have a ton of options on their menu. Chicken strips or chicken strips on a bun to call it a sandwich. We tried the Magoo’s sandwich and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Both came with fries, but drinks were separate. The chicken was just ok. The service was slow and the employees were not very friendly. I think a couple of similar chicken restaurants are better. There are other places in the food court I would go over this place.

Food was okay. Average at best. Got a large drink and they filled it with a ton of ice and then denied a refill. I would ordered without ice if I had known that. Pay 3.59 for a drink and I assumed at least 1 refill. Disappointed and won’t return even though I have been several times in the past.

3/6/26 @3:40 went in today like I do everyday because I work in housekeeping at the D hotel & casino so I eat magos ALOT I love the fries (when they make them fresh ) and the homemade ranch but this day my fav employee wasn’t working she knows me by name and we ask about each others family but I’ve never asked her name if I did I would put it because she’s amazing (lil Chinese maybe Japanese’s lady around 40 MAYBE ♀️❤️) but today a youngish maybe 20ish girl with long red hair was working and you could just tell she did not wanna be there which I totally understand I’ve worked in fast food I don’t wanna be at work either but I still put on a smile and greet and thanks all guest but this girl all I got was “what would you like to eat” “dine in take out” yanno the usually ordering stuff when she gave me my food I said thank you and nothing just walked away to take another order. My food felt dirty in a way lol (obviously I ate it) I love the other lady she told me she doesn’t work fridays so I guess I just won’t come fridays

I got the Buffalo chicken wrap with fries. Honestly for $11 in Vegas, it was a huge bang for the buck. The chicken was tender and delicious. The sauce was great. And I loved that they pepper their fries. Krinkle fries. It was great. I wouldn’t have been disappointed paying $17 – 20 either. I will definitely stop back here the next time I’m on Fremont street.

It’s in Sam Boyd casino. It’s in the food court 3-piece with fried and bread is 9.99. We got 5-piece combo with fries and bread. The server gave us 7 pieces. So much food. It’s quite good but I feel raising Caine chicken tender is better. Huey mcgoose gives you more foo as the pieces are bigger. Drinks are not included though. Park at Main Street station casino. With the receipt you can get the parking stub validated. You can walk around Fremont without worrying about parking cost. You go to the security room by Sam Boyd hotel registration desk.

Tried this place as recommended by Travel Ruby. Chicken was good and not greasy, fries were OK, prices are affordable but service not very friendly. I ordered an unsweetened iced tea and I got one that was sweetened so I brought it back and again got sweetened tea. When I went back again he got upset and told me it “wasn’t that sweet” hello it’s not unsweetened and it was a waste of $3. We travel to Vegas often and although I would say this is a good place for cheap eats I’m not sure I’d be back.

It was my first time to visit with friends and we went to this location in specific after reading about the concept. I discovered it’s a food court location when we went there. It wasn’t very clear from the pictures. We ordered 8 piece chicken half grilled and half fried. The grilled was really dry and we didn’t eat them. The fried was ok but the breading wasn’t the best. I think it was a but pricy but I imagine assuming everything was right it would be a great experience. The best item i liked was surprisingly the watermelon ice tea. I would go back for this one. I went back asking for a refill but the server informed me that they don’t do refills.

These are the Top 5 chicken tenders I’ve ever had … Buffalo sauce is a must order and the Texas toast was a nice touch. They could improve on service it was pretty slow. I would come back and order again.

Honestly the chicken and bread are pretty good, the fries are fine, just depends how fresh they are. Would be nice if the meal included a drink but 11 bucks for a 3 piece tenders fries and bread is not a bad price for downtown. Use the bread to make a sandwish with one of the tenders, if you know you know.
