The hype is 100% real. I’ve visited several times since they opened, and these are hands-down the best fast-food tenders you’ll ever have.
The Food:
Quality: Perfectly breaded, incredibly juicy, and lived up to every advertisement.
The Menu: Simple and dialed-in. While I’d love to see sides like mac & cheese or fried pickles added, what they do, they do perfectly.
Pro Tip: The “Meal for Two” is an unbeatable value for a quick date night.

If a great chicken tender place is on your mind, then Huey Magoo’s Chicken Tenders is a no nonsense kind of place. I had heard of this place and wanted to try it. Despite its typical fast food look, the service and the food was way above typical. I got the garlic parmesan tossed grilled tenders. Now these were the best flavored I’ve had in some time. The fries were good but not as hot and fresh as expected. Still good though. I also opted for the banana pudding for a little treat. My only issue was that the pudding reminded me of more marshmallow fluff than actual pudding. The flavor was there but the consistency threw me off a little bit. But overall the staff was really nice and even came around to check how things were. Great job Huey Magoo’s!

Good spot! Second time at Huey Magoo’s; gave the one in Orlando 4-stars, but this was a better experience. Melanie, the cashier, was friendly and very personable; she definitely elevated the experience. The tenders were enjoyable and the fries had a good seasoning to them. Enjoyed the cheese dipping sauce and coleslaw as well. Based on other reviews, I can’t guarantee every visit would be 5-stars, but this time all the stars aligned to give me a quality experience.

Absolutely delicious! Chicken was hot and fresh. Both grilled and fried are excellent. The fries are crunchy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. Their ranch and Magoo sauce are new favorites. If you like lemonade, the Desert Pear Lemonade is a must try! The staff and management are wonderful! Friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable and the food came out quickly. Can’t wait to come back again!

My dad and I were quite hungry and tired after traveling all day. Jamal greeted us and took our order. He was friendly, pleasant, kind, and understanding. He got our order to us right away. The food and service were both excellent!

Our first visit here because there is not one near us but we will definitely be back. Wow, anyone who did not have a good experience here and with this food must have had a bad day because everything and everyone was amazing.
The grilled chicken was so flavorful and prepared so well. It fell apart when my fork got near it and I ended up scraping it out of the plate which made all that much better.
Please come to Newberry because we need a good restaurant and you will not regret it.

I travel for work 75% of the year and eat out at many different places. The food was awesome but I have NEVER in life had the outstanding, friendly, & welcoming experience that the manager Jamal gave me. Jamal’s professionalism & customer service is very RARELY seen. I’d take 1 Jamal for 10 of my employees. Not only did I leave full but I left with a smile & a wonderful encounter!
