I’m normally not the one to complain but almost $13 for this is totally unacceptable!! Got about 10 fries and tiny little chicken tenders. This is barely even a kids meal portion!! You got these big to go boxes and not even filling it, I walked out with the bag which felt like I was carrying nothing but air. I should’ve went back in but like I said, I’m normally not the one to complain and hate doing it! Either lower your prices or actually fill the boxes with a normal portion on top of that the employee taking orders is rude and talks to you like you’re dumb.

This is my second time coming to this restaurant, and unfortunately it was the same issue as the first visit. The front counter employee was disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional, with no basic customer service or manners.
We ordered two 3-piece tender combos — no extra sides, no sauces, just plain tenders — and waited over 30 minutes. During that time, multiple customers who came in after us received their food before we did. When we finally got our order, the chicken tenders were extremely small and the fries were barely a handful. For $27, the portion size was unacceptable and felt more like a kids’ meal.
Overall, the service was poor, the wait time was excessive, and the food quality did not match the price. I do not recommend this place. Please look into hiring staff who are willing to work and provide proper customer service.

Okay so I ordered thru Uber Eats and got a completely different order than what I ordered and also missing items. I called them and the girl said they couldn’t do anything and that it’s possible the uber driver handed me the incorrect order. NO! Dont blame someone else for your mistakes. I got four boxes of something I didn’t order with a stapled receipt which has MY NAME on it and items listed i ordered. Poor customer service.

Visited Huey Magoo’s and had an excellent overall experience. Hospitality stood out immediately—Trinity was professional, transparent, and genuinely helpful. Rather than upselling, she answered comparative questions honestly and took the time to understand preferences. I even allowed her to order on my behalf, and her recommendations confidently represented the location well.
Food quality was outstanding. The chicken was hot, fresh, moist, and cooked to perfection. Seasoning was well balanced—flavorful without overpowering the natural taste of the chicken—allowing each sauce to maintain its own distinct profile. Presentation was clean and appealing.

We visited on a Friday evening in late Dec 2024. We were only getting food (take out) for our youngest and pickiest eater. The staff was super nice taking our order and we asked for extra ranch which she mentioned there would be a additional cost so we declined. She said she would sneak one in for us anyways. However another staff prepared our take out and we never got the extra ranch. One cup of ranch for all those tenders and fries could cover it if you used it sparingly.
We ordered the 5 piece dinner and replaced the coleslaw with house made chips. While the chips were great, our youngest enjoyed the toast more and we should’ve substituted the chips for another slice of toast (which was an option).
I was just most surprised that when I ordered it prompted us for a tip. I’ve never been to a Huey Magoo’s Chicken Tenders before but it felt like a fast food chain. I felt obligated to tip as the staffer offered to sneak us an extra ranch however, as I said previously we never got our extra ranch and we didn’t feel right asking the staff handing us our takeout order to give us another ranch because the other one taking our order said she would.

The staff was super awesome and really friendly. Ordered a pretty decent sized order for 4 people, and the food came out really fast. The chicken is pretty good, and the fries are amazing. We didn’t try any sauces other than their signature, which was really good. The coleslaw was kinda weak, but other than that, it was an all-around great experience.

I had lunch here earlier in the week, upon my friend’s request, Saige!!! to try the tenders. I ordered the 5 Tender combo and large drink. Sat down and await for the food to come to my table. First bite into the lightly breaded tenders threw me for a loop. It was juicy and surprisingly tender, not over cooked at all, perfectly fried!
They also offer salad, sandwiches and wraps. I will be back to try other menu items for sure.

First and foremost, I was left speechless. I ordered a tenders meal and quickly noticed that the sauce had not been applied to the chicken. I politely asked the cashier if she could mix it for me. About five minutes later, the kitchen manager, Cantrell, began waving at me to approach the kitchen area. When I did not walk up to the door, he came out into the lobby and told me that this would be the last time I was allowed in the store simply because I requested hot tenders instead of tenders with cold sauce. He then ordered me never to return to the property again. My meal cost only $7.00, yet his rude and hostile demeanor was completely out of control. Why would a manager leave the kitchen to confront a customer in such an unprofessional and threatening manner? CANTRELL THE MANAGER behavior was inappropriate, intimidating, and unacceptable. For your own safety and peace of mind, I strongly advise staying away from this establishment.

Overrated!! First and last time ordering Takeout. The portions are ridiculous. Food is extremely overpriced! The tenders are half size to average standard. The 6 dollar dessert was in a Styrofoam container and was two tablespoons worth. The meal I bought came with two sides. The first side was half a handful of unseasoned fries. The second side was a souffle cup for sauce filled with coleslaw which was a tablespoons worth. Only thing I can honestly say that was good was the chicken. It was tasty other than that it was a complete rip off!

We were originally going to stick to what we know and eat Five Guys literally right next door. We were driving back home and I’m so happy we ate here. It’s located in an outdoor shopping plaza with many stores.
Huey Magoos is wayyy better than Zaxby’s in my opinion. Our food was steamy when we got it and appeared fresh! The chicken looked and tasted delicious. They have a sign says no antibiotics in their chicken, & I’m hoping so. We got our food in about 5 minutes after ordering. They have a drink station with 3 different teas, a Coca Cola machine, blueberry and regular lemonade. The blue lemonade was good and different. We shared a drink since there are free refills. The Huey Magoos sauce is good. If your not a saucy person ask for it on the side. If your not into SPICY food, you can ask for the buffalo sauce on the side because it is HOT. It has a kick to it. The employees working that day were amazing! Overall, a great chicken spot. There’s also a Crumbl two doors down.
