Hue cafe reminds me of Vietnamese restaurants we went to when I was a kid. The flavors bring back good memories. The portions are huge and ingredients are fresh! I appreciated that everything was packaged so well. Don’t skip the summer rolls with tofu or the pork bao buns We’ll be back again very soon!

I have eaten all over the country and every now and then you find a place that wows you. I literally was saying wow with every bite! If you love spring roll and pho and bahn mi , ect you have to try this place . They are in kent and I uber eats order for first time to stow and man this is best to go food I’ve ever eaten! Kudos to those that cook this fantastic Vietnamese food!

I was shocked to see the ratings of this place especially with so many total reviews but I will say it is definitely a 5/5!! Amazing flavor to the point I wish I got more sauce on the side because they were so delicious and tasted homemade. My only complaint/suggestion is the amount of meat, I’d suggest getting more as you unfortunately don’t get much. I wish I took better pictures but I was too excited to try it

Best pho I’ve had in NE Ohio and trust me, I’ve had a lot of pho over the years. I wish it was a sit down place because I hate having to accumulate so much plastic waste after a simple meal, but it was delicious. Meat was tender. Well packaged take out meal with lots of fixins. I took my meal next door to Acme, bought a drink and ate it in the cafe. Banh Mi was ok- better when I brought it home to toast it. Wish it was crustier loaf. Spring rolls were excellent. I’ll be back.

Huế Bánh Mì & Phở Cafe is the epitome of small but mighty. I have NEVER had such delicious Vietnamese food since the days where I would go to my best friend’s house and his mom would always cook breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner for our high school sleep overs!
A friend highly recommended I come here to try their Banh Mi sandwiches, but when I got there and saw the menu, I knew I had to order so much more! I ended up grabbing lunch for my family and myself and even got more to have for dinner later!
My order and my thoughts!:
1) Bún thịt nướng with spicy fish sauce: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!? This is hands-down the BEST place to order this dish in all of Cleveland and Akron. I haven’t had a version of this dish that tasted so much like it was made with care and love -like a homemade meal made by mom. The ingredients were packed in the bowl so I know they want me to EAT! They were also carefully packaged to make sure certain ingredients didn’t mix before I was ready to eat, so I know they are conscious of customer experience! I’m SO glad I got the spicy fish sauce because the flavor was out of this world, I could probably eat this at least twice every day if I could. Everything was cooked just right: the noodles, the pork, and everything blended so well!
2) Summer Roll (Gỏi Cuốn): I have NEVER seen a summer roll packed to the seams with the ratio of ingredients so perfectly balanced. Not only was each bite a mouthful, it tasted DELICIOUS. You get a choice between peanut or peanut-free sauce, which is so considerate of them. I had to get the peanut sauce and oh my gosh, it was better than I expected. Which explains why they put it in a larger container. It’s like they know someone is gonna ask for extra! Also, I believe I tasted a light brush of sesame oil on the rice paper which not only added a beautiful gleam to its appearance, but also the right flavor boost! Not that it needed it. It was perfection
3)Special (Phở Đặc Biệt): I ordered this for my parents because they are soup folks! When I brought it home to them and we unpacked it, I was so amazed by the level of care they put into packaging the ingredients separately so as to not dilute or mix any flavors before it needed to be. They also weren’t shy with the ingredients! It was a FULL bowl, something my parents definitely appreciated -so you have the Bondad parental approval ✨️ After we assembled it all, I couldn’t help but sneak a bite/slurp, and omg I know what I’ll be ordering next time! EVERYTHING tasted so fresh despite me driving 45 minutes from the restaurant to my parents’ house -so that speaks volumes of the quality of their ingredients. The taste was yet another hug and welcome into their home. You can tell how much someone cares by the food that they make for you, and this place CARES.
4) Lemongrass Beef (Bánh Mì Bò Nướng Sả): First of all, I did not know there would be so many kinds to order from because every restaurant I have seen only has 1-2 types! So of course i had to try one I have never seen before! ABSOLUTLEY NO REGRETS. The pâté itself added so much flavor and balance to the sandwich overall. Each individual element of the sandwich was something I could actually taste and name off. And it was a HUGE sandwich! If you made it this far into the review, I hope you’re realizing how much I’ve come to love this place. And if nothing has convinced you yet, let the Banh Mi do its job
5) Thai Tea bubble tea: I love boba, so it’s no surprise I had to try this. The condensed milk that i could already taste from the first sip wasevidence enough that they know what they are doing! The boba pearls were cooked perfectly and had the right consistency and chew! And the flavor?!? Exactly how homemade thai tea tastes. Perfectly sized to satisfy my sweet tooth too!
I’m sad I live kinda far from it, but it’s not far from my gym, so if there’s something life is teaching me with this, it’s that when you lose some (calories) you will also need to gain some (calories and happiness) . Come here and taste REAL Vietnamese food!

My family eats here a lot. We really like the food. It’s changed from when we first started going. It’s no longer a full service sit down restaurant anymore. It’s more of a take out restaurant. Although, if you prefer you can sit and eat your take out order at one of the tables. I miss the excellent table service and the fancy garnishes that used to come with your meal. But, even with the changes it’s a favorite of ours.

Great carry out place… especially if you’re in the mood for something different. I’ve been here 3 times now and have really enjoyed everything so much. The Banh Mi (sandwich) is a wonderful alternative to your typical sub shop… Also, the spring rolls are the best I’ve had from a restaurant. The coffee is also really great, I was surprised by that

Fresh, flavorful, and delicious! We drove 45 mins for the Bahn mi and was delightfully surprised at how good the rest of the menu was, so we got some steamed buns and pho! The Macha tapioca tea was also delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, the service was fast. We will return!!

Friend mentioned this place and I gave it a go. It surprised me how a restaurant could make Bún Bò Huê kinda like in a fast food way. Pho, pork, and Vietnamese Milk Coffee were great. The restaurant also serves appetiser like egg rolls and rice noodle shrimp rolls, Vietnamese sandwiches, rice and protein meals, coffee and bubble tea and other pho meals. The restaurant itself is primarily for takeout but it does have 2 tables, each with 2 chairs, so if you’re lucky enough where you visit during less busier times, you might have your spot to dine. Service was quick, kind, and informative about additional information regarding the restaurant. Also, this restaurant is located in an Asian restaurant plaza and is about a 15-minute walk from KSU’s new business administration building. So if you’re a Flash student looking for some lunch but craving for Vietnamese, this place and the entire plaza where the restaurant lays might be your go-to. Definitely recommend for KSU students on long breaks within the Northeast side of campus.
