Setting, amazing. Views of the harbor. Service, the best kind. Food, we love breakfast here. We’ve tried a good portion of the menu and keep coming back. Nice selection of local Port Townsend products served here, seafood and coffee for example. A fun place to eat alone or with a group.

While visiting family in town, they suggested Hudson Point Cafe, and it did not disappoint! It truly feels like a local treasure. We had an amazing breakfast that was absolutely delicious. I had the Boatyard Hash and the rest of the table ordered different items from the menu! We all thought the food was exceptional! The coffee was outstanding too—they have their own blend, and my cup was never empty.
We were greeted right away, and even though the cafe was bustling, we were lucky to get a seat, which told me this was the place to be. Our server Brittany was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and checked on us several times.
I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town to try lunch—the lunch menu looks awesome!

Lovely and popular local restaurant! Hearty breakfasts. I had my regular breakfast, a bowl of perfectly cooked oatmeal with apples and walnuts. I snagged my partner’s raspberry compote and added it in with a little honey. My partner had a traditional meal, sunny side up eggs, bacon and potatoes. Very tasty! Our table had a nice view of the marina.

We popped in out of the cold for a nice hot breakfast while visiting PT. Lovely staff. Nice views. Good food. I enjoyed the historic building and their table top map as well.

LOCAL GEM with a reputation that reaches far for good reason. IT’S ALL TRUE! GO, EAT IT ALL! YOU CAN’T GO WRONG! Veggie options, seafood options, family recipes, local signatures (hint: try the jam) and AN AWESOME STAFF AND FANTASTIC VIEW! This place is worth coming every morning of your stay in town. Trust me on this – you’re only regret will be that you be able to try everything on the menu! Homemade hash, salmon omelets, mindblowing sweet waffles, even a savory cheese and bacon stuffed waffle, and a tart cherry cornmeal hotcake the Seattle Times has raved about, gluten and vegetarian options and delicious coffee with a full espresso bar, cocktails, wine and beer! The owners and staff alone will keep you coming back if the food wouldn’t already have to you hooked. What are you waiting for? You are waiting precious time!

Doesn’t it seem like every restaurant that I visit is a wonderful experience. Well, I am not easily pleased, just lucky.
Hudson Point Cafe is another gem. Open for breakfast and lunch, they have great menu choices. We had a great tasting breakfast of cherry cornmeal pancakes and rhubarb waffles. Fantastic service. Fast kitchen preparation. Excellent presentation.

We had a party of 3 on a holiday morning. This was our very first visit, after numerous visits to PT, and trying out many of the competing options. The place was busy but not jammed. We weren’t in a hurry as it was a stunning January morning and we were in mosey-mode. Fully expected the cafe to be slammed! We were pleasantly surprised at every turn. Our server was friendly, efficient, knowledgable and attentive- all the things we look for in a dining experience. The best part? We all agreed – the food was in our top 3 breakfasts- EVER! Just superb. I’m a little hesitant to say this, as we felt like we’d discovered a secret that we aren’t in a hurry to share out of fear we’ll be unable to get in next time.

Seriously- the potatoes were done to absolute perfection- slightly crispy, perfectly seasoned, and the perfect complement to my omelette- the Flanigan. The Blackberry Lemon Waffles? Pure bliss! Sweet but not overpowering. If you want to try a unique twist on an old favorite, do yourself a favor and checkout the cherry cornmeal flapjacks- sensational crispiness with a slightly nutty flavor and again- browned to perfection!

We shared each dish and had far more food than the 3 of us could finish. Helpings are very generous and the waterfront location makes it feel even more decadent. Sincerely one of the best breakfast experiences ever.

Not to be missed. We will be back!

Went here twice for breakfast. Friendly staff, delicious home cooked comfort food. Loved the Blood Orange Mimosas. The staff remember us and were wonderful every time. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, as long as you love comfort food like we do. Looking forward to the next time we go back.

We loved our experience here! Food was amazing and we waited outside with kiddos while looking at the boats take off. A bit small inside, other than that we had a great meal.
