The Detroit style pizza at Hudson & Packard cannot be compared to a regular pizza restaurant. This place is making individual masterpieces. You can order one of their unique deep dish style pizzas or build your own. You have many options to chose from. Now the pizza itself is delicious and the crusts are amazing. The ingredients are the freshest you will find anywhere. Please stop by if you are in Poughkeepsie, NY.

This place is evergreen. Always delicious, fresh, friendly, and innovative. You can literally taste the love and intention in every bite. Check their Instagram on Thursdays for the weekly specials. They’re always unique and continue to blow me away.
Crust is divine. Lemon pepper wings are the best wings I’ve ever had. So flavorful, crispy, and juicy. Their Caesar salad is something I crave on a regular basis.
The Gelatos are really nice as well, very flavorful and the texture is great. Lots of their dessert options contain tree nuts which I can’t have, so unfortunately I haven’t had many of them, but I’m sure they’re amazing.
These people don’t play. They know how to feed you. Don’t take my word for it, go see for yourself. Go in person and have it fresh, because while delivery is handy, it does not do their tasty work justice.
Most of the pizzas reheat well the next day on a sheet pan at 375F for like 7-10 mins. If you get a “special,” keep the various toppings in mind when doing this, remove any greens, nuts, or things you don’t want wilty or warmed and add them back after. 🙂

I had the S-class and the ambassador.. phenomenal.. then ended with pumpkin and cheesecake gelato for dessert.. definitely coming back.. service was top tier the girl at the front is a hustler and on top of her job as well as the people in the kitchen you could see the through the glass absolutely slaying pizzas..

One of the top two pizza experiences I have ever had. The other was in Chicago. Incredibly delicious. Portion sizes enough for one if you’re starving, two if you’re not. Unexpectedly quirky bottled specialty beverages like Molecola, Italy’s version of Coke. Friendly and attentive staff.

Pretty good pizza and accomplishments. The apple, cheese, and hazelnut salad was filling. The dessert cake was okay. The pizza was tasty, I wish the crust were chewier. The pizza is baked fresh, which is great, but they were taking care of a ton of takeout orders, so the wait was long.

Came to Poughkeepsie for a show, it was canceled due to inclement weather. Decided to do dinner at the Bbq place next door(which was closed) My second choice was definitely Detroit pizza!

Great food before a show at the Bardavon, just around the corner. Their Detriot pizza crust is thick, but light and airy. We had a half and half with the Hudson Hornet and Grren Hornet. Both halves were DE-lish! The Apple gorganzola salad was equally impressive. Service was friendly and atmosphere warm and welcoming for such a small space. I completely recommend this place and will be back for our next show!

EXCELLENT PIZZA! It’s so hard to find true deep dish pizza in NY. Detroit style is my personal favorite and this place does it so so well. They offer a great selection of traditional and unique topping combinations. Our server was incredibly helpful and kind. They recommended getting the garlic parm sauce on our “cheese pizza” when they realized we were trying to make it cheese bread. And man, it was next level! Also the homemade ranch was out of this world. I only wish the portion was 3x the size. Can’t recommend this place enough!

This place hits all the senses on the Detroit style pizza! Flavor was outstanding and the dough is perfect. Not too thick and nice and crispy on the bottom. Plus they have a good selection of craft beers.
