Hard to find this place open, I’ve gone twice where it said open to only find it closed. I’ll gladly improve my rating if I can ever get in there. I drove an hour last week for nothing. Maybe you can’t update your hours on this page but it sure seems like you have seasonal hour changes and the hours listed here are not correct.

Came here for my 21st & the bar tenders are the sweetest dudes ever. My absolute new bar to go to. Even the bouncer outside was super sweet & said happy birthday to me. My best friend had a margarita & my taste of it it was absolutely delicious

I can’t disagree more with anyone who does not feel that this is a 5 star bar. I have been all over the world and this is, hands down, the best dive bar I have ever been to. They have amazing games, fair priced drinks, and you always make friends. If it was possible to do so, I would give this place more than 5 stars (many more….like 11?).

Best bar on LBI! Always go there at least 3 times a year when we rent a house for the week. Love the vibes and the games, always a good time at the HUD! I have purchased many shirts over the years and always get into conversations year round with people in random spots around the state about the HUD.

This is your typical Dive bar that grandpa used to sit in, there’s really not much to say it’s dark dinghy and the beers is cold. This is a good place to come to avoid the tourist and drink with the local working man.
