Writing this review because I was asked to! It won’t be 5 stars like asked but I’ll be honest instead.
STOP PRIORITIZING DOOR DASH OVER YOUR CUSTOMERS WHO SHOW UP, TURN IT OFF DURING BUSY HOURS, someone who has authority needs to make adjustments on how things are handled. Those servers have no control over this, but they still make those to go orders as they come in and deal with the inpatient hangry local people who want to come spend their hard earned money and tip the staff. I watched one booth turn over 3 times because each time it was sat they were told about the wait. How about DoorDash waits?
Decided to go here after the past few times waffle houses bacon was disappointing. Well, I’ll take bad bacon over an hour and 15 minute wait next time. My baby Waffle House would never do me dirty like that. We were told it would be a 45 minute (wait after we ordered), it was obvious they were backed up with DoorDash. We waited, at the 35 minute mark we were asked to leave a review (not the best time to go around asking hangry people to leave a 5 star review, maybe make sure the food gets out first). Then at the hour mark a table that showed up and ordered 20 minutes AFTER us were done with their meal, paid, and left. We finally got our food and it was ok, I’d rather have already been back home enjoying my Sunday!
Also, I say all of this knowing I haven’t eaten there in the past two years because the wait time is awful. We willingly went this time to try something different, we now know we have saved hours waiting on food by choosing elsewhere to eat

My husband and I stopped by for breakfast after running a few errands. Sherry was our waitress and she was wonderful. She was very friendly and attentive. She never let my husband’s cup or my glass go empty. Our wait wasn’t bad and the food was very good. We will definitely be back.

There’s always great service at Huddle House in Ruston,La. Friendly people work here. Today my service was very good with Sherri and Bev making sure I had everything I needed. One of my favorite “go-to” breakfast places. Quick ordering, food always prepared how you ask for it, reasonable prices and now they have a rewards program. I got a free cup of coffee last time just for signing up. Thats a $3.00 discount! I’ll take it.

Delicious food and amazing service. Elizabeth was our server and her service was top tier. She offered the option of moving to a different table away from the window so we could sit in a warmer spot along with moving our drinks and silverware for us. She accommodated my special order omelette and it was delicious! Zy did a phenomenal job with our food and we’ll definitely be back. This was our first time here and it didn’t disappoint.

First thing I notice about the oreo pancakes is the quite high price attached to it. At 18$ I do believe it isn’t very worth it. The presentation of the oreo pancakes weren’t the best. It was smothered in jam and there was barely any oreos on it. The taste of the pancakes themselves was amazing. Soft and fluffy but not dry. It was amazing. The jam was a bit much as it gave it a repetitive taste in every bite, but overall it was enjoyable. Adding the table syrup is something I highly recommend as it balances out some of the flavors, but only a little. Overall I would give the oreo pancakes a 4.3 out of 5. The service was amazing as the food was ready very quickly. There were also these 2 people who were very excited about me ordering the oreo pancakes. Very joyful vibe.
