Huddle House was advertising a smashburger special listed as double smashburger, 2 chicken tenders and fries for $9.99 looked pretty tasty so I decided to stop in and order yesterday 4/30/25 they stated they couldn’t let me order in the store, I would have to order by phone or online? Their menu price on this same item minus the chicken tenders was $11.98. They weren’t real friendly or helpful so I left without any food. However I just kept thinking about that double smashburger special so my wife ordered us two for delivery this evening. To my great disappointment our order showed up wrong with only a singular smash patty on each of the burgers. The food was good but the service and the single patty on what was supposed to be a double burger left me feeling disappointed and a bit hungry…

Our food was awful… The hash browns literally broke when you tried to get them with a fork and I mean broke like glass!! The eggs taste like they were hours old and rubbery the country fried steak peeled apart when you touched it and it was wet
The toast was the only thing edible and the pancakes I did try to eat them but they were burnt. The cook was a white male balding blonde hair skinny dude.

On our way home from a family vacation in Gatlinburg. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. We try every huddle house we can when traveling. They do not disappoint.

Very clean and friendly place but unfortunately the service and food was awful. Our waitress couldn’t really be found for our entire visit and we watched three families (who had come in 10-20 minutes after we did) get and finish their food before we had gotten ours. We watch parts of our food sit on the window for a while and was told there was a mixup so the other tables were being made first when we had already been waiting almost an hour after we ordered.
