As a lover of breakfast meals, I took a morning break and visited this cozy diner for the 1st time as I found the name intriguing for it to be directly across from Love’s Gas stop. I received a warm welcome from the staff. Inside was not too big and not too small. There are booth seating and a counter with about 9 or 10 stools. The breakfast menu had a reasonably nice variety to choose from. I selected the MVP breakfast. The cook did a marvelous job whipping it all together. She cooks with good energy I told the Server, this scrumptious meal has IHOP beat! Loved that the staff tended to their diners with care. I had a very satisfying experience and I was full the whole rest of the day. I will visit again.

The only thing I didn’t like was there were no lights on outside. The ladies inside said that there was problems with the electric? All the shades were down. It looked as though they were closed, but I’m glad we stopped anyway. I have pictures of it being completely dark outside and all blinds were closed. This was on 12-22-2025 @ 7pm. We left at 7:45pm and everything was still dark. Lights everywhere else were working fine….If they (Huddle House) can’t afford to pay electric…..then how can the ladies inside make any tips or money with it looking closed? Unfair to them. There were 2 woman working at this time…..

I’ve been coming here periodically through out the week here and there over the past few months I’ve noticed a lot of things and seen some pretty outrageous things . First one is they seem to get rid of all the kind respectful girls like the little blonde girl with tattoos she was always so helpfull and polite one of the reasons I started coming back and I noticed the dark hair girl Katie isn’t there also . the second is the older lady I assume is the manager Nikki I watched drop what look to be pills in a wrapper or bag of some sort and she seems more worried about gossiping about the other employees to us guests the last two times I was in there their was this young boy who clearly didn’t want to be there nor needed to by the way he was being and wearing his hood on his head and kept disappearing for awhile at a time other then that the food was amazing and fast the building seems to be more maintenance than before and looking better

This was the absolute worst visit I’ve ever had at any establishment! Our young man server was wonderful but the cook Julie and apparent acting manager was absolutely appalling! She got the very simple order wrong twice, no offer to discount the wrong food that we didn’t want anymore when my entire party was finished eating and told us to google the corporate number if we had a complaint. She completed the order after we told her we didn’t want it anymore and put it in a to go box. Stood facing the back wall talking bad about us for a mistake she made. This location is in desperate need of assistance and hospitality training. I paid for a terrible experience and food that ended up in the trash because after that incident I don’t trust she didn’t tamper with the food.

The food was great but the waitress took awhile to get to our table and didn’t check on us. I had to get up and ask another worker for a to go box and go up to the checkout because she didn’t bring the check to our table. Next time we will go to CB and it would have been less expensive.

Have you ever been to a Huddle House? It’s like a Waffle House had a child with an IHop. The food offerings are many and varied. But I almost never try anything else, I just love their chicken fried steak breakfast too much!
I’ve been to several HH restaurants across Tennessee but this one in Baxter, TN has always been my favorite. They are very friendly and the service is always fast and the food fantastic!

I’ve been wanting to try Waffle House, and I was hoping this was a stepping stone. Let me start by saying the waitress was working incredibly hard, clearly earning every penny.. The restaurant was severely understaffed and run down, resulting in a lower rating. This issue is attributable to corporate or the owner. The cleanliness of the establishment(water stained ceiling, missing tiles, old dirty equipment) is unacceptable, and the current state resembles a slum. However, the staff were fantastic, my order was accurate, and the food was decent.

Terrible no matter how times we try again. I brought my daughter for breakfast yesterday. This experience was even worse. The place was filled with smoke so im guessing the exahaust fans didnt work, our waitress hanging halfway out the backdoor smoking a cigarette, my shoes stuck to the floor with every step,actually everything was sticky. The whole place was gross. The food was decent. We are local and have given this place several tries over the years. Never again.

There was a cook and a server working this morning. The music was too loud for any one to think. We sat down and had to grab our own menus as the server was busy with others. We put our menus at the end of the table to signal that we are ready to order. She didnt come by for another 10 minutes. She wrote down our orders in short hand I guess because after 45 minutes of no food it was delivered wrong for all of our meals. I waited over 20 minutes for a coffee. Another 30+ minutes for our orders to be corrected. It got so bad that the cook was at some point taking orders. She left people standing who have never been to the place before. Even the table behind us had to get extra silverware and their own menus. I can understand a person that is shy but when she is the only server (even when its busy/there is a rush) she should greet those coming in and at least take account of her surroundings on new faces especially those without a menu. She also glanced at the card runner when we were putting in the tip amount. Im glad the card runner was working quickly this time as it was an awkward experience having to check out with her. We didnt want to make a stink about how bad the service was there but it just seems like things have gone down hill since the last time we were there.

They have a nice relaxing vibe. The service was great. My server made sure I had everything I needed and had my food delivered very fast. Thank you cooks my food came out perfectly cooked. Nice selection of music.
