Had a great experience at the Huddle House in Sweetwater, TN! The food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Even during the busy breakfast rush, the service was fast and friendly. Very understaffed it seems. Only 1 waiter when we arrived at 6:30pm, no others came in and it took a while for people to order due to the lack of waiters. It took him until 7pm to clean off 1 of 2 tables that were a mess when we arrived, and he never cleaned the second one despite several people coming in. The burger was better than expected but not great. The lemonade tasted watered down, sour and like chlorinated water. The waffle was delicious (had to remind him about it though) and the hash browns were “better than Waffle House” according to my mom. The women’s bathroom smelled like pee but looked clean enough.

We came for breakfast, waitress was polite and attentive. Once we recovered from the prices for breakfast food, we ordered. Our scrambled eggs were orange. I simply could not eat them, obviously not hand cracked eggs. The hash browns were undercooked and rubbery. The toast was toast. That order was 4.99 plus $3 for coffee that was never replenished. The other order was the country fried steak breakfast with orange colored scrambled eggs and a biscuit and gravy. $12.99 plus $3 cup of coffee. Biscuit was not hot, gravy was good. He said the steak and gravy was OK, but not as good as waffle house or the local diner. I’d love to give them another chance, but I seriously doubt we will. Waitress offered me a togo box but when I declined she still didn’t ask if there was anything wrong with my food. $20 plus tip, not again.

Great food and excellent service! They were quite busy but got us in quickly and the food came quickly as well bacon was done perfect delicious grits and the eggs were Medium as ordered. The pecan pancakes have a load of pecans in them and it they are delicious! The staff is very friendly! The tables were wiped down and very wet. And when it dried all the glass marks were still present. Maybe a different sanitizing solution or hotter water and a quick drying cloth would make the table more appetizing. I would definitely recommend you stop in if you’re in the area! Perfect location within walking distance of the motels.

First time at a huddle house! Food came out hot and fresh, I had a bacon egg and cheddar biscuit and i was so happy to find out they could put cheddar on my sandwich instead of American cheese!! A lot of places I have to go with no cheese because they only have American slices. I do wish the biscuits would have been a bit buttery or salty or simply more flavorful…and salt and pepper on my egg would have been nice as well. We took it to go as we were on a long drive so I wasn’t able to add it myself. Kids loved their pancakes
