Not sure if our server was just having a bad day or if she didn’t like the look of us, but she hardly spoke to my girlfriend and myself, and didn’t even ask about a drink order, just stared blankly until i asked for a coffee. the food was delicious and came out incredibly quick (our server only brought one of the 4 plates out and did so wordlessly without checking on drinks or if we needed anything else, a member of BOH brought the rest of our food and he was perfectly pleasant.) after she avoided eye contact for 5+ minutes while doing dishes i asked for a refill on my coffee while she paused to help an elderly man exit the restaurant (i had picked up some silverware he dropped, so no complaints there, but..) after refilling my coffee she disappeared for another 10 minutes, another server checked in with us who seemed to be covering more than one section already, and we asked her for a box for our food. 10 more minutes go by and we remind her when we see her. her face drops and she starts immediately apologizing. our original server, who has reappeared and has been doing dishes while avoiding eye contact, then pipes up and says “oh, i was getting it for them.”
would have tipped the other server if i could have. we’re traveling so i can’t exactly vote with my wallet but i would make a point to not go to this location, or at least don’t sit at table 4.

We wanted a good waffle and the other place was slammed. We drove up the road to Huddle House in Soddy. We walked right in and we were waited on immediately. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Our food was delicious! I really liked the turkey sausage. The restaurant was very clean. Definitely 10 out of 10

Michael was the only employee working on a Friday night. He had 3 tables come in at the same time. He took the orders, and cooked. He handled everything in a very timely manner and everyone in the restaurants order was right, good and hot. You have an awesome employee that deserves to be rewarded. He is a good young man. I think he would make you an awesome manager.

Our family had a wonderful experience. Food was fast and very good, the chili is awesome! The atmosphere was fun and laid back. The staff worked well together during the morning rush. Definitely recommend this place.

I just want to say this past weekend we were visiting my aunt in TN and wanted to go out to eat. We stopped at Huddle House because they do not have them in Ohio, and wow, the food was great. Michael the cook was excellent; there were some things they were out of, but Michael discounted our bill because of that without being asked. While we ate, he constantly was working by serving people and cleaning and did a great job. This young man is a prime example of a hard worker of the younger generation and deserves a raise. We were thoroughly impressed with his work ethic and how kind he was, making our experience at Huddle House a positive one. Next time I am down there again, I will be back.

Shari and tara are the best servers this location has they are very nice and respectful.
