Headed back to Memphis from Birmingham did not want burgers and fries so we stopped at Huddle House in Winfield Alabama off of I-22 W. Can’t say enough about Adalian, Hannah and Hamilton. Terrific service, no better than terrific they made us feel at home. Food was great and it is so easy to overcook eggs. It hit the spot!

We eat here every so often and most the time we have to drive back and get what was left out our order today one bag was left out and we had to go back in and get it , get home and theres a gravy missing and the strawberry topping we paid extra for missing, very annoying other than them putting butter in there this time I’m not impressed half the time the food is rushed like the eggs will be runny and the hashbrowns not even cooked the rest is usually good if they remember to put it in the bag and or give it to us portions are also very small for something almost 20$ each

So disappointed! We traveled through a year ago. Had never eaten at one before. We were pleasantly surprised. Came back this year, I had shrimp dinner. Shrimp was over cooked, Texas toast was cold. Mash potatoes and green beans were ok. The best part was the water. The waitress was very friendly and did a good job have no complaints about the service.

I ordered oreo Sweetcakes with extra cool whip. Got back to work to eat and there was cool whip in a separate bowl diffinatley wasn’t extra. No choc syrup on them. The bottom cake was burnt. Then when I ate them all I could.taste was onions. It was the worst meal ever. I paid 15 bucks for something I could not eat and threw away. I don’t think I’ll be eating there again.

Staff was great, very polite & helpful. Would go back again just because of the service. Food was basic tasting and filled your belly. Wide variety of food options. Similar to cafeteria food. Would eat there again but would keep in mind that it’s definitely not a fine dining restaurant. Sherry was our waitress and she was super sweet and on top of it.

Stopped in for a bite of breakfast while traveling, and it happened to be a very busy morning. Even with that, the wait for a table wasn’t too long and the service was immediate upon seating. I don’t recall ever having eaten at a Huddle House, and my husband didn’t make it sound too delicious. But I believe in trying for myself. Overall, it was a good experience, good enough that a return visit is definite. The food was very tasty, portions were decent, and pricing was reasonable.
