As a longtime fan of Waffle House, I say this with full respect—Huddle House is like Waffle House, but about 65% better. The service was incredible: friendly, attentive, and fast without feeling rushed. The food came out quickly and was cooked exactly right. The country fried steak was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and smothered in sausage gravy loaded with big, flavorful chunks of sausage. My eggs were cooked perfectly, and the hash browns were golden and crispy just the way they should be. It’s everything you want from a classic diner, executed really well. An easy 5-star experience.

This was by far the best Huddle House i have been to in a long time. The food was done just right. The waitress was very attentive. And this truckstop wont threaten you while you eat, unlike PILOT TRAVEL CENTERS. The food was priced normally according to the current times. I will come back !

We stopped in for a quick lunch and it was perfect! We shared a grilled patty melt (my gal’s fav) and a side salad (much larger than it sounds). Food was served fast and fresh. Service was friendly and really cared about our experience. True hospitality!

I had an amazing experience at Huddle House! The food came out hot, fresh, and delicious, but what really made the visit special was the incredible service. My server, Claudia, was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and always on top of everything. She made the whole meal feel relaxed and enjoyable.

A huge shoutout as well to Pam, the manager. You can tell she truly cares about the customers and the restaurant. She checked in on our table, made sure everything was perfect, and her positive energy really set the tone for the whole place.

If you want great food and even better service, this Huddle House is the spot. Claudia and Pam deserve all the credit for making it such a great dining experience!

This was the first Huddle House my wife and I have ever eaten in. The first thing we noticed is that the grill area behind the counter is almost an exact duplicate of what you find in a Waffle House. The main differences are the addition of deep fryers, and the computer screens hanging over the grill area. While Waffle House has zero technology, This Huddle House had a lot of it. In our opinion, it didn’t help.

The restaurant was busy, but there were multiple servers. It took quite some time for us to be waited on at the counter. We were right in front of the dishwashing area, and there appeared to be some ongoing drama about dirty dishes and who was supposed to wash them. We finally got drinks and had the server wipe down the counter and remove the dishes from the previous customer.

I ordered an omelet, hashbrowns, and toast. When I finally got my food, and it took quite some time, everything was fine. The omelet and the hash browns are made exactly like the Waffle House version. My wife’s meal was another story. She has a gluten allergy and went for a Southwest Bowl. She specifically asked for the eggs to be placed on the side, and for NO toast. As it turns out, my wife could have gotten fruit or several other replacement items for the toast but the server never mentioned it. My wife confirmed the order with our server, so there was no misunderstanding about what was wanted. When the server came with the order, and again, it took quite a long time, she immediately realized it was wrong, The eggs were in the bowl and there was toast. She offered to replace it, but my wife declined as we had waited a long time for the food. In addition, when we finally got our food, there was no silverware on the counter and we had to ask for some before we could eat our food.

When the man who was cooking most of the food, realized my wife’s order was screwed up, he was visibly upset and offered to make the order over correctly. He admitted that the computer screen with the orders was too far away from where he worked, and he relied on another person, possibly the manager, to relay to him the correct information. My wife declined his offer.

One curious thing we observed was that the waffle makers were at the far right of the grill area, but the timer for the waffle makers was on the far left, next to the cook. Every time a waffle timer went off the timer make a heck of a racket, and the cook had to reset the timer and inform someone that a waffle was ready. This seemed like a really odd and inefficient work flow, compared to what we have observed when we’ve eaten in a Waffle House. If nothing else it disrupts the work flow of the cook.

We had to ask for our check and I was able to pay the server directly on a handheld terminal. The price was reasonable, $28 for the two of us.

As mentioned earlier, my food was fine, and had they made my wife’s order correctly she would no doubt say the same thing. But the atmosphere in this Huddle House seemed to be absolute pandemonium. Lots of workers were busy but it seemed that instead of working together, they were working against each other. Our server was friendly as was the cook, who we got to talk with several times. Everyone else acted like they would rather be somewhere else.

Would we stop at another Huddle House? Probably not because it’s simply a copy of a Waffle House with a larger menu. Your mileage may vary.

On Fed 13 2026, myself and 3 friends went un to this restaurant. The food was horrible. One meal was under cooked. The biscuits were rubbery and unedible. There was something wrong with each meal. All four of experienced explosive diarrhea, to the point of it being an utterly mortifying experience. Never will I eat in another HH. Even Waffle House has never done with to me.
