As a life long southerner I will always love waffle house but huddle house definitely comes close. Very similar menu with the main difference being pancakes and waffles available. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The location is pretty right on main st in Helen.

First time at a Huddle House and these folks were so genuine, even the locals were so sweet. We got to meet a regular there named Mary and she was so helpful offering us tips for wedding ideas. The cook did a wonderful job and our ladies serving us were as kind as you’d expect. I felt so at home even though I was far away from mine.

Wow this place was the best !!! The food was AMAZING ! The cook Chris did so good with all the food ! The server Haleigh was very professional , even with her not been here long. Came in Monday Sept 22, 2025 at 1pm. This is the second time we’ve eaten here in the past 8 years and it’s always a let down.
I’m this instance I came in with a friend and we ordered food to go since we had our dog with us. We sat outside and my friend went in to order for us. She ordered the “two egg” breakfast and I had the hash brown bowl with sausage and biscuit.
The server who helped us was very kind and friendly and professional and even brought our food outside to us and my friend tipped her very well for being so nice.
Problem is we got back to the condo and her “two egg breakfast” had NO EGGS, and my hash brown bowl had NO HASHBROWNS!
Unsatisfactory indeed.
For you all coming to Helen, take the drive to the Huddle House down the road in Cleveland, much better location and worth the drive.

Do not underestimate this Huddle House of Helen! Marsha is a true talent to the industry and if there is an example to follow she has set it. It’s rare to have service from a professional that loves people and what they do. The hospitality given along with the food and chef made this establishment a favorite here in town. We love the cultured food surrounding town but the comfort food here is unmatched!! Marsha thank you again and I hope Huddle House CEOs see this and give you the treatment and future here that you deserve!!! Thank you Ms. Marsha and we will be coming back.

Stopped here for breakfast as we drove through. Service was good, all the employees seemed in good spirits seemed to work really well together as a team. Our server was very friendly and quick considering how busy they were. The orange juice was mediocre but otherwise it was a great meal. It was also a bit expensive ($40 for two meals and two orange juices before the tip) but i think that’s everything these days. lol. Would highly recommend.
