Tina was our server she was running all the tables but the lady on the grill, she was burning all the food. It was making the server look bad and the server done everything she possibly could to make our food right, but the lady on the grill, if she would take the headphones out of her ears and pay attention to her cooking you wouldn’t have a lot of wasted food and food cost being high this was mine in my Husband‘s first time ever eating at a huddle house and had it not been for our waitress Tina. We had made our mind up that it was gonna be our last trip but Tina done everything she could to make our visit as pleasant as possible. She got so busy and was the only server in the entire store, but she handled that store the best she could. When my husband got his shrimp dinner, the shrimp was burnt. It was missing shrimp. The tartar sauce looked like it was no good. There was no cocktail sauce available. My hashbrowns were not hashbrowns. They were crisp to the point where they were just about burnt. They wasn’t hashbrowns. They were like hash potato chips. The biscuit for the gravy biscuit was burnt and rock hard but thanks to our waiter Tina. She tried her best to fix everything that she possibly could.

The food was not good. The grits were cold,the cheese wouldn’t even melt. The toast wasnt toasted,the eggs were supposed to be over medium and were slimy. Wouldn’t recommend to go back at all.

Real similar style restaurant to the Waffle House down the road. Love the old school feel that this place has when I come in. The food is always great and the staff is always real friendly. Not too many parking spaces but you should be able to find one if you come during the morning. Clean restrooms in here as well.

Unfortunately it was an abysmal experience. 1 star for nice-ish staff. Myself and my company waited for 30-40 minutes for a mere waffle platter each, which when served, seemed to be rushed on the spot despite the time leading up. The seat we picked was in the splash range of the dishes being washed, so be cautious of where you sit. I’ve been a handful of times with each experience being worse than the last. Granted they are very much understaffed, but I won’t make the mistake of returning again.
