This place is a hidden gem. It’s been at this location for five years, so I was disappointed to only visit it now. Where to start; the service.
Friendly isn’t the word. I’d say personal is more like it. There is a smile on every servers face. They have great knowledge of the food and a regular dine in following. That speaks volumes.
Now about the food. I brought my mother, who is the biggest critic I know. She’s at that age where if she has something to say she’ll say it, even while dining out, like mine tastes much better, or this needs salt, “to the workers ♀️”! This is the only time she had no complaint, and a smile on her face. It was such a nice time. She even gave a big tip. So become a faithful return customer and give it a try.

Our server, Jamie was by far the best server we’ve ever experienced! She went over and above our expectations, treating us royally. The food we had was amazing (ribeye & eggs, PoBoy sandwich, stuffed French toast, Huckleberry muffin and finally biegnets). Nothing disappointed, especially the service from Jamie, plus the happy, generous attitude of the sweet manager, the clean restrooms, Cajun decor and parking. All in all, well worth the meal and we’ll worth a 100% gratuity! Bravo to Huckleberry’s owners for designing such a wonderful dining experience.

When we go for breakfast, I always order the same thing: sweet cream pancakes with a side of bacon and coffee. They make the best pancakes in town…warning, they are huge! The servers are all so sweet and on top of everything. We never had to ask for a coffee refill.

This place is the south in California. And trust me I know what I’m talking about. I’m from the south. It has a whole Southern thing going on in Louisiana from the bayou food was good. The burrito was delicious. The French toast was good. Their signature sauce was okay. Wife liked it. Gee said Anita just a little bit more or something. The atmosphere was amazing but busy. The day before mother’s Day as well. We sat at our table for about 5 minutes before someone even recognized. Took about 10 minutes after our meal to get our check. That’s why the service went down. They are really joyful. I’m pretty sure our waiter went to break without having someone cover our table after we already gotten our food. But Jack was really nice. So I gave this place a solid four. If you’re in the area and you want to tell you stuff home, cooking this place might be the place you want to check out for breakfast.

My experience here was decent. We were seated quickly, which I appreciated, but the customer service was not up to par. Our waitress was kind of rude and unprofessional. She kneeled on the booth seat next to me while taking our orders. I’ve never had anyone do that while taking my order! It’s not a big deal but It’s weird and most people would stand. Also, my friend ordered 2 dishes and the waitress scowled and said with attitude “Are you ordering 2 for you? Are you sure about that?” We were there to eat breakfast, not be judged for what or how much we ordered.
On the other hand, food over all was alright as well. The sauce over the Louisiana omelette was good! Not too sweet or anything. They actually put a fairly good amount of shrimp in it. The biscuit was said to be freshly made but it was dry even with whipped butter.

Went there twice in one week with my boys for lunch and both time we got amazing waitresses. Food is pretty good and my boys love their cheese burgers. I always get the bottomless soup/chili and salad which was so good. And the chef even made extra bread for me before he finished his shift so I didn’t have to wait which was such a nice gesture. Honestly no complaints and extremely wonderful staff

This place was great. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive, but the wait was worth it. You can have breakfast anytime and it was taste amazing, I would recommend this to anybody looking to get some good food.

You know the food is the best when the place is packed with happy people. We travel a lot and live 8 hours away. Hands down the best breakfast we’ve ever had. Beignets, Eggs Benedict, waffles, and French toast. Definitely will be coming back anytime we are in town. The staff was also super nice and checked in on us often.
