Stopped in here with my wife, and my Grandma after church, our sweet waitress, Rosie, helped her in and out of the booth and was very attentive to us. Anytime our waters were low, she was there to fill them back up and talk to my wife in Spanish. And the food came out quickly and was delicious as ever! 10/10 would recommend just for the awesome experience Rosie provided us.

Kinda, California cuisine with a Louisiana twist. I had the crab cakes egg Benedict, my wife had a burger with sweet potato fries. The food was great, the service timely but not intrusive…. A pleasant change from the former Black Bear. Although with the incensed seating, the place was a little noisy.

This restaurant had an amazing day today I come in here alone a lot and today just wasn’t my day the general manger I believe her name was Julie made my day so special and man so did the other girl with long hair I don’t know her name but I told them I was having a ruff time with my daughters passing. They both instantly prayed with me and just made my day better. She just knows how to make someone smile absolutely a day to remember I will be letting all my family friends know to stop here and eat they are very godly people and I can never get that enough anywhere sometimes we need these people in our lives and if this huckleberries ever left or Julie it would absolutely be devastating for our community. We all love this restaurant very much and I’m speaking for the whole community. This place is very much needed for this community.

This was pretty good except for the onions in my food still being raw. The waitress was very kind and did her job very well. The prices were within reason. I always have high expectations for breakfast cause of my favorite place in Redding so I really try and be fair when judging and it would have been better if my onions and potatoes were all the way done and it wasn’t even that busy for everything not to be right, other than that the taste was pretty good and my other half was happy with what he ordered. But that Huckleberry buffin, my lord that alone is worth the stop, so delicious!!

Wow. Truly a memorable experience at Huckleberries—if you enjoy being ignored and treated like an inconvenience. Our waitress clearly had better places to be, because acknowledging customers was apparently not part of her job description.
We waited an impressive amount of time just to order drinks. Long enough to question whether we were invisible. When she finally appeared, there was no greeting, minimal friendliness—just pure annoyance that we dared to exist at her table. Asking for refills or basic service was non-existent because getting anyone that worked there to acknowledge us wasn’t happening.
Food was eventually delivered with all the enthusiasm of someone doing community service. No check-ins, no refills, no “how is everything?”—just abandoned plates and empty glasses while she vanished into thin air. Getting the check and a box for our left-over food required near Olympic-level effort and patience.
If you’re looking for a place where bad service is served generously and customer service is optional, Huckleberries is the spot. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

I really liked the food here because it was served extremely hot and fresh like food should be served. I had the catfish and fries. The catfish was fresh tasting and cooked perfectly as well as the french fries. It’s too bad they are only open for breakfast and lunch so get there early.

Today I had a girl I believe the name was Rosie she was AN ABSOLUTE AMAZING WAITRESS!!!!! I want her to be my regular from now on! She rocked me and my wife were highly impressed with how good she did with us! Next time we are in I will be requesting her as my waitress I don’t normally do review’s at all but she out did herself!

All you could eat gumbo and salad was delicious and the toasted bread was great with it. I had two big salads and enjoyed both. The server was a delight and the price was reasonable. Jim loved their coffee. And his breakfast steak was cooked rare, tender and delicious. Good grub for breakfast or lunch.

Had the worst experience here. Came in with a family of five . Told to go sit had to grab our pie high chair and baby sling. Came to take our order didn’t even give us menus yet. Waitress said was really busy so we understood at that point wouldn’t be great service. Tables all around us got checked on an talked to multiple times . Brought out are food and then asked if we needed anything else which we did an they said they would check if they had the item we needed she never checked so we got up an grabbed it for ourselves . Never checked back in with us had to ask for our bill an we left . Very disappointed with lack of service .

Awesome and excellent customer service. Manager and her team work well and treat you as a family. Excellent for family and kids. Price ls are reasonable. Excellent atmosphere. Gets busy on weekend mornings.
