Satisfying diner-type menu with a homespun Cajun feel. The fried green tomatoes were very crispy with a nice sauce. I had the chicken fried steak on biscuits with gravy. Again, very well seasoned and crispy. Staff was extremely friendly and happy. Zydeco music. Not many here this trip. We enjoyed our late lunch. Plenty of free parking.

After getting my taxes done, I was hungry!!!!!
I drove a few blocks and found “Huckleberry’s.” We were greeted and seated right away. Very clean and organized. The service and food were excellent. We had cheeseburgers and fries. Burgers and fries were served hot and very tasty. They are open for breakfast and lunch. Huckleberry’s closes @ 3pm.

It was our first time there, and the server was friendly and explained the dishes to us. We ordered crab cake Benedict, 1/2 lb Ribeye breakfast, and stuffed French toast. I ordered the crab cake Benedict, and it wasn’t bad, but I think I prefer the original versions of benedicts. My husband ordered the ribeye, and he cleaned that plate. The stuffed French toast was a bit too sweet for us, but it’s still good. We would definitely come back again and try other dishes.

Huckleberry’s used to be my go-to breakfast spot for years. I still enjoy eating here occasionally, but to me, their menu selection is smaller / limited compared to other breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurants. Their food portion is good and tasty. Servers are friendly, have a good vibe, and are always packed with people on Sunday morning . When my family visit me (they live in NY and NJ), they love to come here for breakfast. Beignets good (there was one time that they were dry and kinda hard like left over from the day before, but only happened once). My first time trying the shrimp po boy here was flavorful but little too salty for my taste. Loved crab cake benedict. Stacked chicken and waffles were pretty good. I recommend this dish if you like sweet and salty food.

Super busy when we arrived on a Sunday morning but were seated immediately and our drink order was taken within mins. The Tom’s scramble was amazing! The biscuits were cooked perfectly and the gravy was excellent! The Cajun sausage was great with a little kick! Kids portion was excellent for the price (came with eggs not pictured) and the swamp tea was huge!

Had them make me a sort of a traditional Eggs Benedict, but since they only had ham slices they used that. It was decent. I wasn’t crazy about the Cajun seasonings on top or maybe it was in the hollandaise sauce, couldn’t tell. But other than that it was good.

Enjoyed sitting out on the patio which is pet friendly, I called in advance due to not all restaurants allowing your pups on the patio. The service was great, the employees seemed to all love their jobs and even enjoy the food, I talked to the server about their favorite dishes and was recommended the steak melt, soooo good. I’d definitely come back just to have this plate again. I’d pass on the Carmel iced coffee and opt for a sweet tea next time instead, I do love the mason jars though!
