We had to drive to Modesto for a pediatric appointment in Monday and we had ate no food all morning. We showed up to huckleberry’s around 11am and we were greeted so kindly and felt welcomed. It was very quick, no wait time. We were sat at our table and quick enough we were asked about our drinks. By then we were ready to order as well. Food was delicious even our son loved his kids breakfast.

My wife and I ate here today and found we were only 2 of five people in the restaurant. That was nice because the service was prompt and our server was very courteous. My food came out hot and tasted great. However, my wife’s food came out cold and we weren’t asked how it was. It’s not good when a pancake, probably the easiest thing to make outside of a piece of toast comes out so cold butter doesn’t even start to melt on it. Then the syrup which could compensate for it is also cold. That’s too bad. 5 stars for my food and 1 for hers = 3. Too bad they didn’t ask how our food was. Maybe they would’ve remade the pancake or at least thrown it in the microwave.

Went in as a party of 4- 3 adults, 1 child.
It was pretty busy, so the waiter wasn’t as attentive as I’d have liked. Refills on drinks had to be asked for and reminded a couple of times. The food was bland and sort of disappointing. One strip of bacon was overcooked and hard (like it’d been cooked earlier in the morning and waited for me to get there) and the other one was rubbery.
The rest of my party seemed satisfied with their meals, but they got lunch where I got breakfast.

The chicken was good nothing too bad the chili fries were also good they could have been tastier. They got cold kinda fast. The waitress was very kind and attentive. The atmosphere is pretty nice. Other huckleberry places might be better.

My family and I visited the Salida location this past Saturday. This was the first time that any of us have ever eaten at a Huckleberry’s restaurant. We were all very impressed, not only with how good the food was, but the service was excellent as well! We ordered the catfish and fries, the California chicken sandwich, and I had the monte cristo. We also ordered two meals to go (the breakfast burrito with andouille sausage, a cup of chicken gumbo, and the double cheeseburger) for a couple of people who could not be with us. Everything we ordered came out hot and delicious. Very flavorful! The portion size was very generous as well. Everyone we encountered was really friendly, and our server was incredibly attentive! I honestly can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. We were very very pleased with our meal. We will definitely be returning and I encourage you to give this restaurant a try if you haven’t already.

I stopped by this place on my way to Sequoia. It is a pretty decent American diner. The atmosphere and theme were adorable. Service was quick and fast. I tried the quiche and my friend had Egg tater and toast. Quiche has a nice spinach filling, the crust could have been slightly better – but overall 5 star. The egg tater and toast was okayish. The toast and egg were good but the hash brown was very oily. I also had Huckleberry mimosa – it was amazing.

The customer service is great. All the staff were super friendly and sweet. There’s a nice choice of different choice’s of different type of menu options than the similar type restaurant’s. My eggs were undercooked. I rarely feel comfortable returning food but I did this time. They came back again under cooked. I was thinking my order was gonna be different than it was. I will definitely come back and try a signature dish. I thought that was what I was getting. But that was my misunderstanding not anything to do with the menu. It’s great to see something different than the same old options.

I got the “Big Easy” Chicken Benedict. The sauce is questionable partially cause I’m not a somewhat bitter guy. It came with A biscuit with chicken eggs and the Benedict sauce. With a side of potatoes with green peppers and onions. Overall a good satisfactory meal 😀

1st time there and such good food. Had the catfish and fried green tomatoes so tender and amazing flavor. Also got the handbreaded chicken strip and omg so good! Server’s were great too always kept our drinks refilled and asked us how we were doing.
