really upset because i like this place a lot but this is the second time they’ve given bad service. it wasn’t busy at all and they ignored us the whole time. when the food was ready it sat for 8 minutes before they brought it to us and they still messed up the food. when they brought the chicken it was barely cooked and tiny. for the price the service isn’t worth it and they didn’t try accommodate in anyway. wish i took pictures to show but just wanted to leave.

Easily going to be my go to breakfast spot because it is so darn good ! This morning I tried the Canjun sausage breakfast and it was amazing ! My family had the banana pecan French toast and it was also very yummy. As an appetizer we decided to try their beignets and again that did not disappoint at all. The waiter we had was AJ and he was also very attentive and friendly. Overall I give this place a 10/10.

Im confused by what this food is supposed to be. Southern cooking with a touch of California? If the touch of CA is it being bland and bad, then it’s spot on. I’ve tried a lot of items on the menu and refuse to try anything else out because I don’t like spending my money on bad food. So, I stick to the huckleberry’s salad sub blackened catfish. The up charge on a bottom dwelling fish is crazy enough but to have a cook that fails at making it blackened is another thing in itself. This morning, not even 30 minutes ago, I paid for the worst salad I’ve ever had. And to wait 45 minutes for a salad out of a bag, an egg out of a bag, bacon out of a bag, and a piece of fish that wasn’t even seasoned properly, is ludicrous.
I’ve been out of the restaurant industry go a while but I’m tempted to go back just to have decent cook food here.
I’m from Alabama, I already don’t trust “southern” restaurants in Cali but damn, y’all put the icing on the cake.

Overpriced for the size portions you were given. Mom and pop cafes in the area are way better. Quite frankly nothing impressed me.

Ordered Mississippi omelet to share, coffee and two cups of grits. The omelet was more than enough for two and the grits were excellent. The omelet was very tasty. The service was fast and courteous and our waitress checked with us often enough not to be intrusive. We will return and order this breakfast again.
