We used Huckleberry’s catering, coordination, and bartending services for our daughter’s wedding. We were already familiar with their meal prep services and knew their food to be excellent. Michaila was attentive to preparations and reached out to our other vendors well ahead of the day. She and her crew were also warm, professional and good-humored on the day, when we had to make some hard pivots due to an extreme weather change. They provided a personal concierge to the bride and groom, who raved about her attentiveness and kindness. Each of the Huckleberry’s team members added to our enjoyment of a truly happy and delicious celebration.

This was our second time eating here. We like the eclectic decorations, friendly staff and unique fare. The baked brie appetizer was delicious as were the muffin, fruit and mixed greens that accompanied the beef taco quiche. The quiche was disappointing in it’s blandness. I expected more flavor for such a unique dish. Despite that, we will eat there again!

We sat outdoors in the patio/bar area. Very unique and creative dinner and drink menu. My wife got the shrimp/sushi dish and loved it (not raw, just presented like sushi). I got the spinach salad with watermelon. It was good but the taste combo wasn’t great. The service provided by Jamie was excellent. The inside is small and less appointed than one would expect after experiencing the outside. There was also good live music outside on the patio. Highly recommend for a night out in Tryon, NC.

Love sitting outside with our dog. Wait staff is always friendly and accommodating. Food is good, great drink selection, nice vibe. Always something for the vegetarians as well. Seem to change up their selection, which I like. Our go-to in Tryon!

Went back yesterday and had the bacon wrapped meatloaf, my friend had the chicken sandwich wit brie and strawberry compote – both dishes were wonderful! Jaimie the server was wonderful, too!

Started off with the shrimp skewers then the hummus with roasted veggies wrap and ended with the chocolate Kahlua toffee mousse cake. The shrimp was a little over cooked but the wrap and cake were wonderful. I ordered the sweet potato fries as my side and those were also good.

This place must be PAAAACKED for dinner on most nights and standing room only on the weekends. The food and service here were off the charts in all aspects! Fortunately for me, I didn’t make it until 2p for lunch and missed the crowds. Very friendly service and she helped me pick out the chef’s best dishes. My app was a dish of OH MY GOD THIS IS DELICIOUS sweet potato rounds with spectacular toppings and I completely inhaled it. Main entrée was a Blackberry and walnut salad with wood-grilled chicken. Inhaled that one, too. It was VERY large and the chicken by itself would have been a meal.
If you are in Tryon, Huckleberry’s needs to be on your list. Do not miss this place! The level of quality and commitment to service here is off the charts for most small businesses and nearly unheard of in small towns. If I lived within range, I’d buy stock in Huckleberry’s!
