This is a very cute place to stop when you’re passing through or coming back from a day of fun on the mountain.

The decor is very woodsy and rustic, which is perfect. Sometimes seating can be limited, but the service is very very good and very very fast.

The prices were pancakes. Seems a bit high to me at almost $20 so we just had one of their giant donuts and some halibut fish and chips. The halibut fish and chips for five pieces was actually a great deal. The fish was very good and the amount of fries and bread were very generous. The halibut was lightly battered, very meaty and tasty, the fries were a little on the soft side and the bread was a little bland, but overall it was good.

The service is very fast whether it be getting your water order taken or food delivered.

We go on a semi regular basis and I got to say, parking has never been a problem, even though free street parking is the only option.

It’s technically a donut, but it’s the size of a cake! Delicious!!! Took me 3 days to finish eating this beast, but it was so good. $7 for the maple donut, which sounds expensive until you see it barely fits in the large to-go container. It really is perfect for a family of 3 though. yummy

Pretty standard diner fare. What makes this restaurant 5 stars for me is the huckleberry pancakes and the huckleberry milkshake. The pancakes in the huckleberry short stack cover the entire dinner plate and are enough to feed two people. Whenever my husband and I dine here we always split the short stack, a side of two scrambled eggs, and a side of sausage. Really hits the spot after a good hike. I’ve yet to try the huckleberry pie, but it’s on my to do list. Do yourself a favor and try any of the huckleberry items on the menu. You won’t be disappointed.

Everything was so delicious and perfect and fresh. Our server was so attentive and kind! We had the fried halibut, hot chocolate, coffee and also some huckleberry ice cream ! Every single item was on point. Seriously can’t wait to be back and experience more of what they have to offer. You won’t regret coming here.

We have been coming here for 20 years and it’s still great. Ownership has changed but the food is still good. Love the milkshakes(they don’t give you the metal cup anymore). The burgers, halibut, chicken fried steak, breakfasts are all great and the service is excellent.

We had a group of 8 here for lunch on a Saturday. It wasn’t busy so we easily found a table to accommodate our group. The servers were helpful enough. Each one of us ordered a different dish, as well as a maple bar and “cinnamon roll” to share and the overwhelming response from our group was “meh”. The food was extremely average, we didn’t finish eating it. We wouldn’t go back. My son who loves pancakes with syrup ordered them and didn’t each them. The “syrup” was clearly not maple syrup at all, it was like brown colored simple syrup, sugar water, so gross. The maple bar was oily. The “cinnamon roll” was an oily glazed donut with a little cinnamon inside. There weren’t many choices in Government Camp so we tried this one but it was a flop for us, and definitely overpriced for what it was. 1 egg was 6.25, eeek. The omelet was decent, the kids hot dog looked uncooked. I’m glad some people like it, it’s sort of a cute rustic atmosphere but we weren’t impressed.

Great find after exploring Trillium Lake… Halibut fillets, fries, onion rings, Huckleberry Parfaits, homemade giant doughnuts… and much more… fantastic spot to relax and get quality eats. Cozy atmosphere and excellent service… and food was freaky fast!

Nice little Inn, amazing food and omg the HUGE donuts were a very nice surprise. Staff didn’t seem thrilled to have customers though, it took us forever to have our orders taken and she didn’t even ask about drinks when giving us menu’s. We ordered our own drinks with our food and it took over 10 mins just to get them (mind you we were 1 of about 4 tables in the place at the time) so definitely not busy. I think I just expected better customer service for it being a smaller establishment. Again food was worth it regardless of the poor service.

This is such a cool little restaurant with a cool alpine vibe. Great food with generous portions. You won’t leave hungry that’s for sure! Also, be sure to try out their fresh made pastries. My wife and I got one of the maple bars. It was delicious but also so huge that we had to get a to go box for it.
