It was a new place to me, but I went with family and they liked everything. I’m thinking a 4 rating but they come here all the time because they like it so much. It’s good to go with sometime who has been there before.

It’s different than other places. Buffet, but you give your raw food choices to them and they stir fry it and include your choice of sauces.

Hubilai Mongolian Stir Fry: Great Service, Lackluster Flavor

My recent visit to Hubilai Mongolian Stir Fry in Beebe, Arkansas, left me with mixed feelings. While the service was undeniably excellent, the food itself unfortunately fell short of expectations.

Let’s start with the positives, and Hubilai definitely shines in the customer service department. From the moment I pulled into the easy-to-access parking lot and walked through the effortless entry, the experience was smooth. The same can be said for exiting both the building and the parking area.

Inside, the servers were truly outstanding. They were quick, attentive, and friendly, making sure our drinks were refilled and our needs were met promptly. The grill cooks were also impressively fast, efficiently preparing everyone’s custom stir-fries.

However, the main reason for my disappointment lies in the food itself. While the ingredients seemed fresh enough and the concept of building your own stir-fry is always appealing, the final product was just okay, bordering on bland. Despite trying different combinations of sauces and spices, the overall flavor profile lacked the punch and excitement I was hoping for.

Furthermore, a consistent issue across everything I tried was the excessive soupy liquid that pooled at the bottom of each plate after it was cooked. This made the dishes feel very sloppy and detracted from the overall eating experience. It wasn’t just a little moisture; it was a noticeable amount of liquid that diluted the flavors and made the texture less appealing.

The price point was acceptable, sitting somewhere in the low to middle range for this type of dining experience. However, considering the underwhelming taste and the sloppy presentation, it didn’t feel like the best value for money.

In conclusion, Hubilai Mongolian Stir Fry offers a fantastic service experience. The staff is efficient, friendly, and clearly works hard. However, the food itself needs improvement. The bland flavors and the consistently soupy texture were significant drawbacks. If you prioritize excellent service above all else, Hubilai might be worth a visit. But if you’re looking for a truly flavorful and well-presented Mongolian stir-fry, you might want to explore other options in Beebe.

Pros:
* Awesome and attentive service from servers.
* Very fast grill cooks.
* Easy parking lot access and building entry/exit.

Cons:
* Food tasted okay but was quite bland.
* Every dish had an unappetizing soupy liquid at the bottom.
* Sloppy presentation.

One suggestion I have to any newcomers, stuff your bowl full of everything you like because it’s stir-fry. Tbh, I didn’t know it was that kind of buffet. It’s very good though and you can get what you want and the sauce you want all together! It’s tasty and I highly recommend!!

Been here a few times! What is not to love.. you pick every ingredient you want and but it in a bowl. You choose the veggies, rice/noodle, meats and sauces! Talk about customization! I am currently doing keto diet so it works perfectly for me. I went with zucchini, onion, water chestnuts, shrimp, dark meat chicken, with 3 eggs! Boom perfect diet friendly meal. Can’t beat the options and food. Service well service with a smile isn’t really a selling point! No one who works here has a smile or looks to be having a good time… oh well the food is good

We love coming to this local hit with family. Buffet options that can accommodate all our families crazy dietary needs. The Singapore and curry sauces are the only 2 totally gluten free sauces unfortunately, but the Singapore sauce had a nice Asian flavor.

Rice noodles and white rice are gluten free. Lots of options for veggies and meats. Sauces are yummy and don’t forget to add an egg! They will cook your food and deliver it to your table.

Unlike other Mongolian Grills, you can opt out of a base (rice, noodles, cabbage). I didn’t see butter, but it was still good without. Plastic gloves were provided at the buffet. If you are diabetic, be careful with the garlic oil and some of the sauces; they have sweeteners in some of them. You can make multiple trips to the buffet, which is also not common with Mongolian Grills. The restroom was clean. The right-facing stall door inside the female bathroom doesn’t latch securely. The price per person is not bad for an all you can eat place. We’ll probably go back when we pass through again. The food was good.
