Just tried out Hub City Burger HubCity Burger Bar and was gonna get a burger but decided on a lobster pizza… 1st time eating a lobster pizza and it won’t be the last! $20 seemed kinda high but lots of lobster and great taste. Once they have more flavors of pizza, I would add mushrooms & spinach… yum!
Talked to the owner & fresh cut fries are coming soon! Yes! Love a good burger w/FRESH not frozen fries.

This place is going places! Thoroughly enjoyed the Burger, all the way. The wings are HUGE and their flavors are classic, I’ve yet to try their pizzas but they have the whole setup ready to go and I’m told they are growing the operation to cater to +21 crowds soon, what a nice place to enjoy a burger and relax!

Photos were misleading! Food is half the size of the photos! Burgers were the size of McDonald’s burgers, just tall! Fries were cold and stale! We were told there would be a lot of fries and for $5, we were lied too and robbed ! Chips and salsa were stale and nasty! There are no combos on their menu and it should never cost u almost $50 for two small burgers, two cold small orders of fries and two 12 oz drinks! I will never come back to this place and will keep posting how horrible this place is! Buyer beware and don’t believe any of the pictures!

Did a quick search when in Lubbock & “best food near me” gave us this place. We all (3 of us) ordered a burger and split a loaded fries and 2 small drinks. Total was over $42. Loaded fries were awful. For $7 you get a handful of fries doused in cold nacho cheese & some form of “meat”. The “meat” was dry, tough, very old & so salty it was nearly inedible. I think between the three of us we are about 1/4 of the order (and it was small). It looked fancy but was awful.
Burgers… We each got a cheeseburger ($10 each). Two came out with meat spilling over the bun however mine – the patty barely took up 3/4 of the bun. The meat was very overcooked and my $10 burger was literally 4 bites. Smaller than a quarter pounder from McDonald’s. Again, doused in salt. A little slice of tomato & piece of lettuce. This was at most a $5 burger.
We will never go back.

Food was very good! We tried the burger, BLT, and pizza. It was all very tasty. The best part of our experience was when the owner came up and asked my daughter if she could carry my grandson so we could enjoy our meal! We will definitely return!

Nope. We went on our lunch hour and waited 45 minutes for 3 burgers! And the place was not crowded, only two other small parties ahead of us. It took so long we had to change our order to go. My father who had a funeral to attend at 1:30 did not have time to eat before that event. The burger was fine but not 45 minutes fine ; it wasn’t gourmet. The people working there were plenty friendly but had no system or clear training and were thus so slow. One could not successfully eat there on a lunch hour from work. And my poor father.

Very simple inside, felt like they were just getting the stride of things. Food was great and the service was top notch. If you stop in get a side of the bacon habanero jam and toss it on your burger. Oh man so good. Chips and queso were good as well. We will definitely be back

Coming back to change my review since my friend was treated like trash. The ONLY reason I stepped foot in this place was because of her. The food I ate, THAT WAS AMAZING, was cooked by her. But seeing how poor the owners are and how they treat their employees, I’ll never be back. Do better.

Family owned but amazing. going here feels like going to a family gathering where your parent makes the BEST food ever. i honestly found my favorite food place. ALSO get the mango habanero breaded wings with ranch… SO GOOD!!
