This place is usually busy when I come by. Made it in for lunch today. Meatloaf was good and so was the sides. Finished the meal with a slice of egg custard pie. Down home cooking is what they’re going for here. The prices were really reasonable. They need a bigger parking lot.

This place was in a very difficult spot to get to, having been blocked in by those in the gas station, but we had to stop because they were adamently recommended to us by some locals. The food is breakfast diner food, and it was delicious and familiar. Its exactly as you would expect it, no frills needed! The service was great, the waitress was attentive and kind and the food came out quickly. This is a cute little stop and definitely recommended for a quick, simple, delicious breakfast.

I was in the mood for a ‘diner’ type lunch and got exactly what I was looking for…chicken salad club with fried okra. The chicken salad was tasty and the okra was fried just right. If you are in the mood for a quick lunch without any frills I would recommend The Hub.

Great family resturaunt. The food is delicious and thenrestursunt had a homey feel to it. Decent prices on food and great customer service . There is table service and high chairs. It is good for parties, families or just an individual . The wifi password protected. Public restrooms and handicap seating. A great selection of food. The blt sandwhich with chips and a pickle was delicious.

Family home cooked food for breakfast and lunch. Good basics on the menu with ample specials every day. You will find hard working men and women stopping in for a good meal with a side of “thank you” and “please”. Service is fast because they know you are busy and have things to do or a job to get back to. I like the chicken salad club…a combination of two things that are great together. You should also try the day’s selection of home made desserts. Rocky Mount has grown up around the Hub, but the Hub stays the same, is still as clean as the day it was built and filed with hustling smiling folks making food just like they have for decades.
