It’s hard to compete with NY style Chinese food, but honestly this comes close.
Their decor isn’t pretty, they only take cash, but the food is yummy. The owners are also lovely people. They aren’t stingy with their portions either. I spent $24 on a large chicken lo mein that was stuffed to the brim, small spicy wings ( $7.50 for 4) and small regular wings ( $7.00 for 4).

I ordered the satay chicken, and as a person of the culture this cuisine is from — what an abomination! Satay has to be grilled or at least fried in a special sauce, not just sweet and sour sauce!

The food was pretty good, wasn’t that big of a fan of the lo mein but it wasn’t bad! Online it said it was only $41 but when I got there it was $51, she let me pay the $44 I had and told me come back tomorrow to pay the rest, which I will. I appreciate that gesture, the customer service was nice! The atmosphere was not great AT ALL. I’m not sure if they were re doing the restaurant but there was only one table and a few chairs put around the restaurant, it was pretty full of people and I had no space to be in there comfortably, on a hot day, this was not what I was hoping for! But it wasn’t the worst experience.

Honestly I’ve had better. I had their pork fried rice which is that yellow rice, it had 2 kinds of onions white and green which I thought was too much and it was bland on the taste. Their lobster sauce was ok on taste but soupy and not chunky or thick as I perfer it. The boneless ribs were very dry because they were cut very thin and extra fried. The chicken wings as well- they were crispy but not in a good way…The oil definitely needed to be changed. The wings were very dark and crispy. The beef teriyaki I must admit were ok and I liked the price (4) for $5.00. The chicken fingers were also ok. Not too bad! Overall-The food was edible but not something I would crave for seconds. If Im looking to eat yellow rice Chinese I would go to Chung-wah in chelsea which cooks the same kind of Chinese but way tastier.

service is really slow… but the food I felt was pretty decent. Lower sodium on the fried rice and the tso chicken wasn’t bad. Also had the hot and sour soup, no complaints. And definitely healthy servings.
There’s other chinese restaurants I’d rather go to, but this spot works if you need a fix.

This place is very popular with the Haitian community. You can sit here for hours and only watch order after order of Chicken wings with plantains fly out the door. For their Chinese American basics you can do much better are Dar Hee just a few blocks down the road

If I could give this place a 0, i would have. I have never ever thrown away a whole dinner plate but there’s always a first time and yesterday was it. I got teriyaki chicken on a stick.. dry and gross. Egg rolls, more like a spring roll which was actually the only half decent thing on the plate. Crab Rangoon the cheese was spoiled and rancid. The rice was mediocre if you like canned carrots in your rice. I got extra duck sauce which I got free… yay!! I should have gotten the whole plate free cause even the sauce was rancid, save your money and walk a block down to Dar Hee.
