This will definitely be a stopping place for us. Variety of food and everything was good. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. Prices were great for the amount of food you got. Pho had great flavor and all the additions, orange chicken was perfectly sweet and the burger was cooked just right.

First time here is definitely not our last. The staff is absolutely amazing. Fast, friendly and courteous. The orange chicken, lomein, fried rice and egg rolls were served up hot and quick, considering it was a packed Saturday night. We might consider take out next go round as the environment is more loud sports bar (no offense) than comfortable restaurant. Definitely recommend for something fresh and different while in Rockport.

Great service! Delicious food. It’s a cool little restaurant that has bar food through benchwarmers and then the kind of Asian fusion on the other side. They’re connected through the hallway, but you can grab food from both side sides of the restaurant which is kinda nice

We ordered calamari to start, and had a couple of the lunch specials. We’d went in for seafood, but the Benchwarmers menu didn’t appeal more than the redfish options.
Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavor was there. The calamari wasn’t chewy. The egg drop soup appetizer wasn’t too thick.
It was all good. And there’s a whole vegetarian section that I was thankful for. It was enough to feed me later today, too.

The gator bites were a popular order at our table. Having had gator several times in the past, I rate them as just okay, thin cut, the breading was good, couldn’t taste the gator.
Our table of 6 ordered different entrees and all had good reviews about their choice. I ordered the Blackened Redfish, it was good, but I’d try something different next time. The menu has lots of choices, large portions, reasonably priced restaurant, fast service, food was well prepared. We ordered extra spring rolls and I’ll have one for today’s lunch, they look very fresh.
I’ll definitely recommend this restaurant and will likely be going back.

Hu Dat & BenchWarmers seems to be the same place; Just in case you’re wondering lol. Worth the wait! The food was hot and fresh and delicious! We didn’t know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. We tried the Doughboy, Chicken Sliders, Kimchi Fries, rangoons, Vegetable Lomein, sesame chicken & fried rice! All of it was served hot fresh and tasty. We had to try the fried Oreos and the funnel cake fries, so good! High five to Joe and the crew for giving us a great experience, even short staffed! We’re definitely coming back.

The beef fried rice is so good, I’ll definitely come back here again! The staff were all warm and friendly, even when I picked up my take out order shortly before closing. The fried rice dinner isn’t too oily, and had a lot of decent quality beef. The meal came with egg drop soup and a side of brown rice, so it’s a lot of food for the price. The inside was clean and many locals were dining here, both solo at the bar and with families.

We had the Old Fashion Burger with Monster Sauce, the Swiss Burger with a generous side salad, Seasame Chicken with Fried Rice and Brocolli. Everything was delicious! Staff was Outstanding and they took really great care of us. Will definitely come back again. Please Note, they are nit a Fast Food restaurant and it shows. Thank you foe a terrific meal!
