Wow, from the 5 cheese baked Mac to their tender sweet yam ! I was Not even breathing while eating! My husband loved their salmon fingers & fried whitening!

Loved it!!!! The best soul food I’ve had thus far. And I’ve eaten lots of soul food. their cornbread!!!! Lawd is like no other. It literally melts in ya mouth!!!! I had the fried catfish, the yams, Mac n cheese and cabbage. The food was divine.

Food’s Good. Smotherd Pork Chops, however were salty. Too much salt used in cooking which isn’t necessary. $6 sides dishes (although very good & attractive) were very small portions: as soon as you begin to enjoy ’em… they’re gone! Other than that, were very much pleased with the entire experience. Really enjoyed everything.

I went for Dinner and everything was delicious. I had the chicken wings with yams and Mac & cheese as sides. Delicious. My spouse had the same but with garlic mash and string beans as a side. We were so pleased that we returned for Sunday brunch the next day. The atmosphere is cozy and hip. A definite local gem. The service was great as well

We ordered through Uber Eats. We certainly enjoyed ever bite. The flavor was everything and delicious. However, if I may make one suggestion. My candied yams were on the soupy side, not enough large pieces in my serving size. Now, this could be attributed to us ordering late around closing time?
Their mac & cheese was cooked just right however, the top layer of cheese consistency was a bit much, too cheesy for my liking, still yummy. Corn bread, was soft, sweet and moist. Could not ask for a better piece of corn bread. Lastly, their fried chicken & shrimp, chef’s kiss! I highly recommend trying their food.

They food is amazing. I haven’t had everything on the menu but the itnes I did have were phenomenal. Their food are seasoned very well and their fish, chicken, turkey wings, and pork chops are to due for. The Mac and mashed potatoes are delicious also. They will not disappoint!

I ordered from this place on DoorDash. I ordered the pork chops w/ rice & gravy and cabbage. The food was amazing with nice portions. It’s been along time since I had great soul food. Every thing was so good. I will definitely be ordering again.

I love soul food and I saw a bogo deal (buy 1 get 1) so I placed my order for pickup the store is very pretty very clean the I was helped immediately once I was seen. The service was amazing I ordered the chicken meal the chicken was good nice size but a little salty but still eatable. I also got cabbage and potato salad the cabbage is plain no seasoning whatsoever the potato salad was DISGUSTING it taste like coleslaw wouldn’t recommend either side threw it in the trash. The mac and cheese was the worst I’ve ever had in my life no seasoning no love just noodles in a bowl full of cheese around it I paid 27 dollars for this. Would I eat here again possibly if they get a new cook the only way I could eat the Mac was to pull the cheese off the noodles and add it to the cabbage

Alex took care of me real cool brother! Ask for him when you arrive!!! The portions are decent I got the smothered turkey, candied yams, and five cheese mac n cheese!!! Price was not that crazy at all! I would suggest if you are in the area stop by and give it a try. The atmosphere inside was very clean and trendy had lots of parking on side of building! As a local of over 30+ years I can say we did not have this growing up and it is definitely a good look for the area!
