Always delicious! The sweet kolaches are good, and the savory kolaches are amazing. The egg sausage jalapeno one is a personal favorite, but the Ranchero is a tasty vegetarian option as well. Actually, we’ve tried several of them and enjoyed them all, but the ones with jalapenos are next level, though not too spicy. Obsessed! I do wish they had more seating, though. It’s basically just grab and go, due to tight space constraints.

I was super excited to have my husband try kolaches. This specific shop was so-so. They rolls were kind of doughy. My girls enjoyed the sweet ones but I did not try them. The savory were cold when we got them and the guy working the cash register was very dry. Maybe put someone at the front who can sell your product and likes working with people. I had my previous kolaches from a seasoned Mexican restaurant, so I guess I was spoiled the first time I tried them. I probably wouldn’t come back here again. They were pretty busy, but there was a parade going on. My personal recommendation to the business, put someone else at the front, offer warm options for savory, do combined offers(I would’ve bought more if they would’ve done combined offers), make sure your rolls aren’t doughy inside.

There’s something of a cult-like following to this place. People are losing their minds over these kolaches. I’d place them firmly in the ok category. Another review describes them as doughy and undercooked. At my previous job, we had these about twice a month, and they were consistently doughy and undercooked. Kinda tastyish still. Give ’em five more minutes in the oven, hombres. I know you’re risking an incident with the ugly breakfast mobs outside your place, so it’s surely a dilemma, but do it for those of us not yet zombified.
A side observation, but you know what’s better as a delivery system for breakfasty stuff than a hollow roll? A tortilla. We have the tech. We have the means of production. But hey, options are nice. Keep on enjoying the spherical, kolache aficionados. May this establishment thrive for 100 years!

Hruska’s is a must stop for me when In the Salt Lake City area. Their kolaches are so good. This is a must try if you have not ever had a Kolache! Beautiful sure to try both a savory and sweet Kolache.

Don’t order the bacon kolaches unless you want to find more fat and gristle than ever before. I’ve ordered bacon before and had the exact same result. The sweet ones are fine, so maybe try those. Don’t throw away your money and buy literally anything else. Or even go somewhere else, because these are Michelin Star prices for gas station food.

Yummmm!!! Wow these are soo delicious!! They’re given to you warmed already. Soft bread on the outside and generous filling on the inside. Their hot sauce is amazing!!! Wish there was more seating but I love these hole in the wall spots. Quaint and cozy! Friendly service who recommended her favorites and the most popular ones. I tried egg, sausage, jalepeno & my fried tried the burnt end sausage jalepeno and brisket. We loved them and will for sure be back!!! ❤️
Another huge plus is they will label the box so you know which Kolache is which AND they use paper boxes & bags – not plastic!! The box display is beautiful – would make for a great “cheer-up” “get-well” or “thinking of you” gift.

I’ve heard about Hruska’s Kolaches for years, so when my boyfriend moved in down the street from the American Fork location, I knew I’d have to check them out. I’m so glad I did! I splurged and got the Monte Cristo kolach (I’m a sucker for a good Monte Cristo sandwich, so I was hoping the kolach version would be good), and it was absolutely delicious! I also ordered a sausage & gravy kolach. I was almost full after the Monte Cristo, but ate half of the sausage kolach as well. I grabbed a couple of strawberry shortcake sweet kolaches for later (oh my goodness….sooo good). Next time I think I’ll just get a Monte Cristo and strawberry shortcake, as they were so filling! The pricing was about what you’d pay for a fast food meal, but exponentially better. The fresh, homemade taste was worth every penny. I was also surprised how fast I got in and out; there were many people in line, but I was in and out in less than 5 minutes! Very impressive! I’ll be back often!

We went for breakfast kolaches and there was a line out the door. It moved very quickly though, we were out in under 10 minutes. We got sausage egg, bacon egg, and a bbq brisket. They were all super delicious, the dough was very savory and soft. The brisket one was saucy but the other breakfast ones could’ve used the sauce they had (I forgot ) will definitely go back!
